moving stinx!

Guess what? Today is the last day to enter the gIvEaWaY! Check back tomorrow and see if you won!!

And guess what else? Today is moving day. Do you have ANY iDEA how HARD it is to PACK with TWINS??? i HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE moving...soooo draining! Suuuuuuch a pain.

I mean, looking up from watching The Bachelorette online to see the people my parents hired to move everything packing up my stuff is SO. HARD.

My only soulice is knowing soon we'll be in JJWT's aunt and uncle's 12000 sq ft home bc their mish pres in S. America and need us to take care of it for free. Love service!

Good bye, home. Good bye Rio. Good bye Chilis and Cheesecake {prolly don't have those there}. Good bye everything I know. Good bye Zion. Good bye candle parties. Good bye cute hair. Good bye knee length shorts {no one there'll know the diff ;)}. Good bye familiars. **dainty sniffle**

I guess I just always thought I'd raise my fam here so this is seriously a heart rencher.*

*yes it's only for the summer. But did you know that 2.5 months - 4.5 months are very formitive times? Jenny McCarthy said.

  6. I soooo knew that you'd be house-sitting this summer. I swear, I am so "in tune" sometimes its FREAKY.

Hang in there Tamners, you know that service (and by service I mean spending a summer in the mission filled) doesn't count unless you at least pretend to be happy about it.

  7. puhLEEZE tell me you had TiME to make the twinsies cute liddle "gOiNg To WaShInGtOn!" onsies?!!

  8. This is hilarious. Our old stake pres. is a mission president and they seriously have a 12,000 square foot house. It was being vandalized, so they had to have family move in to take care of it and someone moved into the guest house.

  9. You just reminded me of how much I hate Jenny McCarthy. Cured of autism. psh. But of course you don't have to worry about one of YOUR babies having autism. Because they are so blessed too.

  11. yeah well, at least your ebffs are constant guiding lights for you in this rough journey.

Do you srsly have to like, vacuum and dust a home that large by yourself? you have twins to take care of for heaven sakes!

  12. Seriously! I hope your aunt/uncle-in-laws don't expect YOU to pay for the cleaning lady in THEIR house. People can be so ignernt without meaning to be.

  13. You'll hate moving back when it's time! Yes, I do know how hard it is to move with twins. Take care and enjoy all 12,000 square feet!

  14. I really hope you take the Segway tour around the monuments.

  15. Ugh - you have to move in the RAIN??? Talk about Trials!!!

  16. ugh! I can totally relate. I just moved to the mission filled too! I also had professional movers, and it was so hard to sit there and watch them pack up all of our stuff (while my sister was watching my kids) so I just HAD to sneak off with my hubbalubb to go see a matinee. That completely re-energized me enough so I could go back to the house and watch them pack up more of my stuff for me. SAD!

  18. Well, if Jenny McCarthy said so, then it must be true !!! Hahaha. Have a safe trip to the mission field. I will pray for you as you go to live among the gentiles. Love from D.

  19. Washington DC is the coolest place in the continental United States. Try and enjoy it and not miss Utah too much... find *solace* in a new adventure.

  20. Call me once you get to DC and we'll hang out. My oldest daughter LOVES to help with twins. :)

  23. Here's a little advice (not that you need it) about living in the mission filled. While you are here do nothing but mention how great Zion is, list all of the stores you miss, and fly home AT LEAST 3 times. Okay...really, you already knew that but here's the best part: AS SOON AS you are home you need to talk/blog/tweet about all the things you miss AND all the friends you miss/can't live without (even tho they'll be back in Zion soon too cause HEAVEN FORBID you go outside your comfort zone and mingle with the natives!) I LOVE to hear people complain the whole time they are here then go home and talk about how great it was. It's the BEST!!!

  24. Knee-length shorts would be so hard to wear in the humidity back east. It totally makes sense to take a vacation from the g's and just wear a bunch of cute sundresses from anthro for the summer.... after all, no one is going to see you

  25. Good luck with youir move. Remember Zion is where ever you are with your family. I hopoe you have a safe move and I look forward to reading about it :O) Good luck and I am sure we will hear of some old restraunts and well as some awesome new ones:O)

  26. I srsly hope that Aunt and Uncle don't expect you to use all their stuff while you're working SO hard watching their house. This calls for a Pottery Barn makeover like no other. I mean, please, your children SHOULDN'T have to suffer trails like not being surrounded by adorable-ness. We HAVE to sacrifice for the next generation!!!

  32. If anyone can handle this trial, you can, even if you have to suffer in such a small house for so long. Your selflessness and willing to sacrifice for your angel-babe brings me to tears. You're an inspiration.

  34. First of all, ((((hugs)))). And, yep, I do know how hard it is to pack with twins. I've done it twice in the first year of their lives and will be doing it again in the coming year. Put on your BGP's...you can do it, girl!! ;)
