liddle DTD riddle
Guess who went to the Down-There Doc yesterday? ME ME ME ME ME! It was special see-the-cuteness-of-my-innards day so I'm way happy. Yay for doctors! Yay for babies! Yay for families! Yay also for sunshine, aspartame, VTs, shopping and the plan! I feel SO huge and SO prego...I am literally an elephant! But a WAY greatful one. Can you believe I'm going to be apparent?? SO fun to go in and make sure everything was awesome in my righteous womb and hear the heartbeat.
I don't get it! Are you trying to tell me something???

ReplyDeleteAnd just FYI, did you know that on many fertility and parenting boards that "DTD" stands for "doing the deed." As in s. e. x. Just saying. I guess it's appropriate that your doc would have be given the same initials considering it's for that reason you're going to see him anyway!!

ReplyDeleteWow you must be super righteous.. i heard only the most faithful women have two babies at once. You are going to be the size of a BUS with two kids in there. Just make sure you go tanning like every week.. when you are tanner you look skinnier.

ReplyDeleteOh my freakin' heck, not to be boastfull or anything but I sort of feel like I was prompted about this when I brought up the One Boy, One Girl thing. Now that I have a confirmation of that and a few DTD detales I'm starting to rethink this single thing. If rightius prayers are answered I guess I just don't want this bad enough. Now that I have a hint about how fruitful loins can be I have totally had a change of hart and I will stop being voluntarily alone and I'll try just a little harder so I too can be completely fulfilled in heart and mind! It'll really seal the deal when you start pumping milk in front of me (yr gonna feed both of these Angels, right?)

It's like free clothes. Instead of spending $300 for an outfit (with socks and blankets and hairbows and stuffed animal and bag and shoes) you only pay $150 and you get 150 free so that equals ZERO!! Yay!

Although be forewarned: stretch marks are totally disgusting, and total strangers will constantly be asking you questions about how you conceived them, i.e. your sex life, as if that's any of their business. Also people will totally think you are due, when you have like 3 more months to go. So good luck and sincere congrats!

ReplyDeleteUm, I hate to be all downer on your big news, but my sis-in-law had twins, and she got so huge she was not cute anymore. She looked like a barn and nothing fit, not even the ugly maternity stuff they sell at Target.
ReplyDeleteWORSE, she now has this "twin skin" on her belly that looks like a puckery old tube top that got stretched too hard and accidentally dryed in the drier.
Dont despare to much, though. Maybe you could ask for cash and checks at your shower(s) and save up for a little tummy tuck action, because your gonna need it.
I'm sure your hunny will still love you though no matter what. That's how you know you got a good one, when he says he'll love you even if you get fat or saggy.

ReplyDeleteWay to follow the PLAN! We all know that those people who are SO selfish to postpone the preggies just for reasons like jobs, school, money, getting out of shape--are WICKED! (Besides, there are so many awesome ladies out there willing to have your baby for you--called "serguts"--that the Lord would bless you to have your babies AND your hot bod, for being so righteous and following the PLAN!)
Just thinking about those poor baby souls waiting up in heaven to come down...and YOU brought TWO at the same time! So SPIRICHUL!!! It makes me frown-smile just thinking about it!
