bc they deserve the uniquest names ever

holy crud! I am allready 32 weeks along AND twinsies usually get born early so MY WOMB IS TICKING and I don't have names picked out yet! Need to so bad so we can hang the appropriate wooden letters in the nursery STAT. Will you help a TAMNers out???

Good news: I got the help of Cari Clark from the totally famous Utah Baby Namer {face fan!} so take a look at what she has to say and then HELP ME!

Hey all e-BFFs! It's Cari from the Utah Baby Namer! TAMN and JJWT need names for their feti. One is a stud and the other is a princess so they need a boy's AND a girl's name. Of course, TAMN wants some unique names for her unique, darling kiddos, so she sought my advice (after I BEGGED her to let me help). After we got me some new chunky highlights in my sassy menopause bob (Thanx TAMN, sooo happy I listened to you!), and fresh mani/pedis, we chatted over some fat-free, sugar-free fro-yo. She's totally open to new idizz, but when I suggested nice, righteous B of M names like Ammon and Sariah, or classic Biblicle ones like James and Elizabeth, she wrinkled up her teensy adorable noise and frownsmiled, so I knew nothing ordinary would do.

Then we poored over the thousands of names on the Utah Baby Namer, but she thought they were too common and ordinary too. "I just know there'll be like 4-5 Cliffany's in my little princess's Gymboree class," she said. "And Leumas? Spelling Samuel backwards? EVERYBODY'S doing that." And you know, she has a point.

Soooo, how about naming the kids hybrids of the parent'ses names? A couple combos:

For the stud:
Amberson
Tayber
Tiffler
Jorgan
Nicolor

For the princess:
Tiffaley
JaCole
Ambley
Meglor
Taygan
Guys! What do you think? Any of these? Got other idizz? Spill it! I need em to be UNIQUE and DARLING, a almost impossible combo!

  2. LOL. Seriously. A smidge of my 44oz-er shot out of my nose.

    ReplyDelete
  3. Amberson rocks! But for the princess, not the stud.

    ReplyDelete
  4. Tamnberly. It's perfect! (And just happens to be what my two year old calls her favorite baby doll!)

    ReplyDelete
  5. You could just use their names to spell our your initials--Treyvan Axis for the boy and M'Lisha Nouvellette for the girl! TAMN forever, baby!

    ReplyDelete
  6. Tayber and Taygen! Please.

    ReplyDelete
  7. I agree, Amberson would be a great name for the little girly.

    ReplyDelete
  8. howsbout Tamner for the stud and Tamnerlee for the princess (cute playz/twistz on Tanner and Tamralee)

    ReplyDelete
  9. Tayber and Taygan then they could be all cute and twinsie!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  10. I SEW love Amberson! And Taygan? Now that's to DYE FOR! I hope no one steals your awesome, original, no-one-will-know-how-to-spell-them names off your blog. Some of your e-bffs mite be too-faced. You just never know...

BTW, you are making me feel like a total looser for naming my boys Jacob and James. My daughters name is a little cooler, but she's no Tiffaley that's for sure!

    ReplyDelete
  11. I agree with Heidi, I thought Amberson would be a good girl name... I also LURVE Jorgan!

So thoughtful of you to not let your child be named Leumas or Cliffany like EVERYONE else's kids.

    ReplyDelete
  12. So how bought Taygan for the little prince and Amberley for the little princess?

    ReplyDelete
  13. I think you might need to do a combo of Faith, Hope, and Charity--since these feti are a combo of you and JJWT. Maybe you should name her Fairity and he could be Chiropth.

    ReplyDelete
  14. I had a friend in elementary school whose name was Jacole, but she wasn't Mormon, so I guess you could use that.

    ReplyDelete
  15. Deffo Tayber and Taygan - all sorts of matchy-matchy possibilities! Keeping you in my prayers that this most important part of preggo goes smooth!

    Love ya, TAMNers!

P.S. Hope all this thinking and pondering hasn't interrupted your bed rest!

    ReplyDelete
  16. TAMN you have given such cute names all of us envy! Just a side note not that you would. But they just did a study that unique names, and for boys they have linked them to getting into trouble as teenagers. So, I know that you don't want that because your kids will just ROCK and say yes mame and no mame..But I think your picked perfect names!

    ReplyDelete
  17. Definitely gotta go with the alliteration. Taygan and Tayber! Yeah!

    ReplyDelete
  18. Girl should be Virtue (New YW value)
    Boy should be Brave

    ReplyDelete
  19. Helloooo! Twinner's names NEED to rhyme! Definitely need cutesie matchie names for the feti....I vote Taygan and Jorgan!

    ReplyDelete
  20. I'm pretty sure it's crucial the spelling of the name is as unique as the name itself. If in doubt, add another couple of vowels! Ashley's so much cuter when it's spelled Ashoeleighye.

  23. TAMN, if possible, your satire of a blog just got a big more satirical. I am WOWed again. You hit the nail on the head when it comes to Mormons coming up with "original" baby names!

    ReplyDelete
  24. I agree with Amberson for the girly! I love Tayber for your little stud!

    ReplyDelete
  25. Jorgan and JaCole. Definitely Jorgan and JaCole.

    ReplyDelete
  26. Loving the name Amberson for the little princess!!

But I have a few suggestions, too:

How about Tayson for the little prince?? Wesley?

    Maybe TamberAnn, Tamberly, Tes?

But really you should just go with a general authority type name...how about J. Spencer or J.J.W.T Benson??

    ReplyDelete
  27. Amberson sounds more like a girl name, but I really like that one. haha.

    ReplyDelete
  28. My brother suggested the name Mcbrianna for my daughter and I'd always thought that was a good one, but I see now that it's kind of commonplace. I'll put my thinking cap on and get back with you if I come up with anything.

    ReplyDelete
  29. call me crazy... I really like Jorgan and Taygan. Just realized the endings are the same. I knew someone named Jorey. It was pretty cool, but it doesn't go with the mix the names thing.

    ReplyDelete
  30. I vote for Jorgan and JaCole cause they totally sound like a fashion designer brand! No generic names for your feti, designer all the way!

    ReplyDelete
  31. Amberson & Tiffaley get my votes.

NO ONE is going to make fun of THEM on the elementary school playground...

    ReplyDelete
  32. Okay, so this is probably way too normal-ish to mention, but if I had twins, I already had names picked out: Tristan & Trinity. I ended up using Tristan for my son, but never had a girlie to go along with it. :)

    ReplyDelete
  33. Your boy's name has to be uber masculine, like Gunnar, or Axel. Or Krul. Or Rifle. Or you could go the more richus way and name him Bensyn, or Monsyn, or Iring. That would totally original.

Your girl's name should be adorable, in fact so adorable that it is highly inappropriate for a grown woman, like Jannifur, or Kimberleigh. Or maybe Madison (so unique and old sounding). And with Madison you could totally spell it different to make it even more unique, like Maddysyn or Madisinh, or Maddusyn. So cute!

Also, you could make up names that sound like prescription drug names, like Ambelyn, or Fornemen.

Making names for your children out of your names is so played out from 2006.

    ReplyDelete
  34. What about after one of your fave stores...Anthro & Paulogie?

But, GA's are SO hawt right now. SO hard to decide!!

    ReplyDelete
  35. What?!?! No names ending in _adan or _aden? Something is wrong here...

    ReplyDelete
  36. How about Scout (as in eventually an eagle scout)and Mia (in honor of the Young Womens program).

    ReplyDelete
  37. What about Quindy? Or Abcde (Abb-si-dee)?

And for the boy? William Wallace Jason Drew, WWJD. He'll totally get twinkled with that name.

    xox

    ReplyDelete
  38. Tiffler and Tiffaley for sure! *sarcastic smile/smirk* I LOVE when people give twins almost the exact name!

    ReplyDelete
  39. Amberson and Taygan....So cute...I especially love Taygan!

    ReplyDelete
  40. Hello, Edward and Bella! Is there any other combination? Oh, wait, Renesmee and Benesmee?

    ReplyDelete
  41. I think Gordita has a naming talent -- Bensyn, Monsyn, and Iring are all GREAT ideas.

    How 'bout Jayston and Jannellica?

    ReplyDelete
  42. jorgan and taygan 4 the winn!!

    ReplyDelete
  43. Jorgan and JaCole would be AWESOME!!

    ReplyDelete
  44. Stud - Jorgan
    Princess - Taygan
They end the same! But are so stud like an princessy!

    ReplyDelete
  45. I think there needs to be WAY more unnecessary capitalization! And throw in as many Xs as you can.

    ReplyDelete
  46. I'm having a hard time between Tayber & Taygan and Jorgen & JaCole

    ReplyDelete
  47. Jorgan is mine! Well... one consonant off. My boy is Corgan. Jorgan is too close and we are like 14th cousins, so keep anything remotely like my baby's names out of the options, for posterity sake?

    ReplyDelete
  48. Hmm, I would be worried the Tayber and Amberson would be too feminine for a boy. We have a little girl in our primary whose name is Taybree, which is really close to Tayber, and Amberson just screams girl. I also don't like Taygan for the girl - too masculine. We had a "Trajan" in our primary who was a boy.

I say you do something with your own name, adding the "make a girl/boy endings" to adjust them. For instance, Tamnleigh, Tamnrae, or Tamnbelle for the princess, and Tamnson, Tamnder, or Tamnford for the stud.

You also gotta be careful posting these things online, TAMN! Someone else is bound to give birth before you do, and cuz you're so popular, your kids are going to be in a class of Ambersons, Taybers, and Taygans.

    ReplyDelete
  49. Either Jorgan and Jacole OR Tayber and Taygan!!! I'm loving that they are sooo unique and rhyme for the twinsies!!! Can't wait to hear what you decide!

    ReplyDelete
  50. The only cute name is Jorgan. Love it. And Amberson is most assuredly masculine. Who would name a girl something w/ the word "son" in it? Mabye if you changed it to Ambersyn, that's a little girly.

    ReplyDelete
  51. I vote for Jorgan (Stud) and Amberson (Princess). I mean, seriously - Those are unique but at the same time, not so unique that they will have a serious identity crisis when they get into school and have to start correcting people that can't read the perfection of their names....

    ReplyDelete
  52. abercrombie and fitch? too 2001? I, too, like teighbehr and taygha7n. how about Obama and Misheighlle? That's the rage out here...but not where you are...

    ReplyDelete
  53. But seriously... there are two kids in my ward named Taegen and Jorgan. No joke.

    ReplyDelete
  54. Princess:

    Amberson
    Amberleigh
    Tamberleigh
    McBrienna

    Stud:

    Jorgan
    Taygen
    Tayson

    ReplyDelete
  55. I totally needed this pick me up today!

Why don't you find out what Lynzii's naming her feti and then steal, I mean, improve on those names for yours?

    ReplyDelete
  56. I like Taygan and Amberson!

    ReplyDelete
  57. I like Kelben or Kelby for the boy and Juzannah (like Julie (Beck...Gen RS Prez) + Suzannah (rychus New Testament gal) for the girl.

    ReplyDelete
  58. I'm LOVIN' Jorgan and Taygan! If TAMN doesn't use 'em, I may just go get preggers RITE THIS INSTENT so I can use 'em.

    Love you TAMNers!

    ReplyDelete
  59. OK, seriosuly, you HAVE to name your adorable, sweet little girl "Tamnlynn" after you! Then you can let JJWT name the other one. It'll help him fill like he contributed or something. He could name him "Football Face" fir all I care!

    ReplyDelete
  60. I just remembered I had copied some inspiring baby names from birth announcements at a prenatal checkup. Unfortunately all of these have been used at least once, but you could use them to get your ideas going:

    Jaxon
    Keejan
    Tylee
    Karter
    Bryndi
    Addisyn

    ReplyDelete
  61. Meglor sounds like a robot/super villain of some kind.

    ReplyDelete
  62. I'm pretty sure I heard Taybor and JaCole at the play place at the Mall today...so you might want to cross those two off the list. Unless of course you wanted to do something uber-cool with the spelling. J'Cole would be so sophisticated! and Taybor...what can we do with Tabor. Oh! Te (with the little accent over the E) and just Te would be such a great name, and it wouldnt' confuse spanish speakers at all, its TOTALLY multinationalish which is definitely the thing to do. It shows you heart your lamanite ancestors.

    ReplyDelete
  63. THE PERFECT NAMES have to be celebrity couple combos, hot celebrity couple combos. Brangelina for the girl, and TomKat for the boy, or vice versa. Then everyone will know that they are practically celebrity babies, destined for super hotness and super stardom.

    ReplyDelete
  64. Sorry TAMN, but I already named my twins Tayber and Taygan. Great minds, right?

    ReplyDelete
  65. I HEART JaCole but maybe you could spell it like JayCoale. And Taygan like Tayjjann. It is soooo much funner to spell it diferent!!! Like my friends babys McKinslleay and Kysunn. SOOOO freakin cutesy!

    ReplyDelete
  66. Please, please, please call her Cliffany. Please.

    ReplyDelete
  67. For the boy I like Bronco (so then he can grow up to be a super righteous handsome athlete, but prolly not a coach because, ew, what if there aren't any openings t' the BYU and he ends up a high school teacher?).

And THEN you can name the girl after the shrieky cool super fun GNO game Bunco, that way ensuring she'll always be popular!

Bronco and Bunco! What could be cuter??

    ReplyDelete
  68. Baaaaaaaaaahaaaaaaaaaaaaahaaaaaaa This is seriously too much for me to handle today! To be totally honest I hate all those names... I think you could come up with something WAY more creative/cutesy with a totally ritious meaning... I really hope you didn't pay this Cari person big bucks, cuz those names weren't worth it- but I do hope she paid for your way fun girls day!

    ReplyDelete
  69. Amberson and Taygan. Love these two names! Good luck.

    ReplyDelete
  70. Hey, have you ever thought of Nevaeh? It's Heaven spelled backwards...that's totally hip with certain, um, demographics around here. Except we follow the PLAN so it would have to be Modgnik Laitselec. (Can't believe how long it took me to type that...) That sounds totally masculine AND richus!

    ReplyDelete
  71. Hmm, I dont think a name really matters since your going to come up with the MOST adorable nick-names for them EVER! so don't even sweat it!

    ReplyDelete
  72. How about Mahonn and Rie (you know, after the brother of Jared)? That would be toadally richus.

    ReplyDelete
  73. what? You're not naming the pricness Brinley/Ava/Madi/Addison? And You're not naming the boy Crew/MAddox/Cohen/Riley? What are you even doing?

  81. I was totally going to go with JaCole and whatever went with that one, but I have seriously ben talked into Bronco and Bunco. 2 cute!

    ReplyDelete
  82. My ward is really into product names right now. Tresseme, Gerithol, Previa, and heaven forbid, Trojan.

    ReplyDelete
  83. Definitely Jorgan!!!! And all the girl's names are pretty good... but I really like JaCole because then they would both have "j" names! (since their twins and all) :)

    ReplyDelete
  84. Seriously TAMN, I thought you were gunna name em BELLA and EDWARD.

But, seriously, those names are pretty cute, LUV the UBN. It's a total lifesaver.

    Jorgan and Taygan.

    DEFINATELY!!!

Maybe Bella and Edward should be there middle names?

    ReplyDelete
  85. Tamners, I'm so shocked you don't have an inline comment form for your blog yet! you'd get way more comments if we didn't all have click on something TWICE. Ugh. SO tiiiring.

Anyway, I think all those names are ummm...great...If you want your babies to have an outdated and lame-o name that everyone else will have by the time they are in their college slash eternal companion finding years. IF you really wantto be ahead of the trends and have super cool named children, you need to come up with *temporary* names that they can use until they're off to college/mish (like muffin and scout) and then have an awesome re-naming ceremony where you can name them with the hOtTesT, most Uniquest names for them in THeir time, which is totally responsible and way richus. I bet your princess and stud will be so popular you'll even have to invite some celebs to their re-naming ceremony!

    ReplyDelete
  86. Just a thought... are you really going to be able to name your princess ANYTHING that doesn't replace at least one of the vowels with a "y?"

    Ambersyn (or even Ymbyrsyn!!!)

I also like someone else's idea:

    Aiden/Jaiden/Haiden/Braiden
(And the girl could be Aidyn/Jaidyn/Haidyn/Braidyn)

    ReplyDelete
  87. OR!!!!!

You could spell your names BACKWARDS!

    Elocin/Nagaem/rebma/Ynaffit
    Rolyat/Sew/Nosaj/Nadroj

    (Yes, I've seen it done.)

    ReplyDelete
  88. Ohmyheck so superhappy you asked!! Obviously you want them to start with the same letter so everyone will know their twins, no question they're. I think it super cute to name your child either a boy's name (for a girl) or after a last name, preferably a president. It's even more precious if you misspell it. In the presidential last name category there is the every popular
Madison, Jackson, Pierce, Harrison, Tyler, Taylor, Grant, Arthur, Kennedy, Carter, Reagan and Clinton. The problem is that you run the risk of having other babies with the same name! Ew! So go back to that presidential list, pick some name nobody ever uses and misspell the heck out of it! And because they were never intended to be first names they'll be YOU-NIQUE! (Also a great girl's name!) Here are some precious idizz. When you have one you like, make up a series of meaningless syllables for your other unique baby!
    Polk (Polque)
    Van Buren (Va'Burine)
    Fillmore (Philmor)
    Buchanan (Bugh Kannon)
    Lincoln (Lynnkinn)
    Hayes (Hayse)
    Cleveland (Cleavelynn)
    McKinley (MaKinlee/M'Kinlie)
    Taft (Taphte)
    Harding (Hardine)
    Coolidge (Kewlige)
    Hoover (HuVer)
    Nixon (Nickson)

Remember, DO NOT research these people AT ALL before naming your child! (like you would!) history is for boring desperate ugger people with no imagination! Kisses!

    ReplyDelete
  89. TAMNers, puh-LEEZE member that the tWo names mustMUSTmust start with the same letter AND/or rHyMe! i GUESS i kinDUH like Taybler and Tiffaley; HOWevs, here's a few other iDEAS:

    * Nephilynn and Nathory
    * Addilisha and Adamson
    * Whittleigh and Westynson

p.s. DoN't mod-podgy the woeden letters until you SEE their liddle faces...then you will just KNOW what to name them!

    ReplyDelete
  90. Mhana, you are hilarious!

    ReplyDelete
  91. I think Jorgan and JaCole would be too precious. Also, somebody else mentioned naming them Edward and Bella... that would also be SO CUTE!

    ReplyDelete
  92. Jorgan and JaCole... They sound tuff. Noone would mess with them!

    ReplyDelete
  93. You definitely need more Ys, more 's more capitalization, and unique spellings. Plus with twins you really should consider the James & Samaj...ya know the racecar = racecar backwards thing.

    ReplyDelete
  94. Amberly and Aydyn or

    Kiara and Jordan/ Jason

    ReplyDelete
  95. Trendy and Original:

    McKelltsee and McKayden

    Or
    Histerical and rigteous:

    Joseph and Emma

    ReplyDelete
  96. i vote for tayber and amberley! cute, but not so over the top that everyone won't know how to pronouce them!

    ReplyDelete
  97. Jorgan and Taygan are for reals the B-E-S-Test! Or you could name them after the next road signs you see...Fillmore for the stud, Beaver for the princess?

    ReplyDelete
  98. Rules of Baby naming in Utah

    1. make boring names cute by replacing letters (Jessica - Jessykah)
    2. If anyone guesses the spelling on the first try - you have not replaced enough letters. Go back and try again.
    3. When in doubt, add an extra (random) capital letter
    4. Keep the name a secret otherwise your sister in law/ bff/ co-worker might steal it!
    5. If you hear of another child with the same name - go back to the drawing board.
    6. You can tell you have a really good name when it for sure sounds like the name of a baby or little kid - a name no grown adult would own up to...

I hope this helps. I'm sure whatever you pick will be PERFECT Tamn!

    ReplyDelete
  99. I agree with Amy about Mormons making up weird Utah names... sorry I had to swallow the bit of vomit that came up into my mouth! Don't get me wrong I am mormon but I guess I don't have the strong Utah influence!

    ReplyDelete
  100. How about TAYTAMN for the girl? Kind of sounds like Tatum, only totally original.

And the boy could be TAMNDON!

That way they both have a little reflection of their sparkly mommy in their names. And a little dash of daddy too!

    ReplyDelete
  101. LOL! your post and comments have me giggling! Good luck picking names!!

    ReplyDelete
  102. I haven't laughed so loudly in a long time. Just for the record, I agree with Shalyse Walker (but why did she need to post it 8 times?)

    ReplyDelete
  103. My favorites:

    Bronco and Bunco

    Nephilynn and Nathory

    Threshold of pain exceeded..

    ReplyDelete
  104. go with famous siblings:
    jimmy and pam
    james and angelina
    emilio and charlie/charley-for a girl
    tito and latoya
    donny and marie
    luke and leia
    alec and billy/billie-for a girl
    flopsy and mopsy or cottontail
    or little used scripture names:
    joel and jael
    lot and sarai
    lamoni and abish
when i was having kids my mom wanted me to name my daughter Bubbli Madel. that means baby girl in pennsylvania dutch. we call my son fedava boo. that means spoiled boy in pennsylvania dutch. i don't live in utah though, so i didn't go with them.

    ReplyDelete
  105. Seriously Tamners...

What do you want from your little baby's names?
    I'm just guessing here...

    1. That EVERYONE will know they are yours.
    2. That everyone will know they are THE BEST BABIES ever.
    3. That everyone will know how blessed and righteous their parents are.

    Tamn Jr.
    JJWT Jr.

    Or
    Blessyd (princess)
    Perfekt(stud)

I do agree with the while first letter and rhyming bit if you can make it work...

    Humbol
    Humility

I dunno if any of these really work, but maybe they'll help a bit.

    ReplyDelete
  106. I am sure that you are not even going to come and see me, man you are popular.
I love differnt names. My oldest girl is McKinli, and my new little neice is Scotlyn. Her daddy's name is scott and moms middle name is lyn. Cute combo huh? I have decided no matter how hard you try to be unique-there will be others with the same name. My middle little girl-Hannah-there are at least 12 hannah's in her grade at school. So not kidding! My youngest is Graci-not just grace. Just trying to be different!
I would love for you to wonder on over to my blog. I have just started an etsy site with some Visiting Teaching Kits. They are super darling and inexpensive. So, while you are resting with your feet up, because you are pregnant and you can-eat some chocoalte and come and say hi! I love to make friends with such a talented writer. I really enjoyed ready the blog. I will be back. Good luck!

    ReplyDelete
  107. I always liked my highly original girl name--- Jaidi pronounced like Katy with a J (or at least that is how my husband describes it) I have been racking my brain for a name to go with it...but haven't really come up with anything original for it. I never in my life had anyone in class with my name and actually, I have never met another Jaidi in my life, not even spelt differently.

    Jaxon, Collin (my son), Alex,
Jaicie (my daughters name), Alexia, McKenna, Elise, Felicity (My other daughter)

Anyway, good luck with the naming...

    ReplyDelete
  108. Did you consider doing JJWT Junior and then combining both of your moms' names for the girl?

Another thought: Ambercrombie Bella Vivienne & Fitch Edward Knox

Remember to make sure the initials don't spell anything too cutesie with your last name!! And be careful with the rhymes (you don't want little Charlotte nicknamed "harlot" on the playground :-)

    ReplyDelete
  109. OK - I am Totally going against the crowd with this but since you are SO proud of your "Utahness"...why not give the feti's names that honor their homeland? Like Moab and Happy (after happy valley)? Or Maybe Arches and Alta? Or maybe even Steeple and Arby(since you see a steeple or an Arby's on EVERY corner)?!?!

    ReplyDelete
  110. JJWT boy---JeT
    TAMN girl---MisAMNbersyn

  111. well those ones are.....okaaayyyeeee......but what about Zaire for the girl and Amari for the boy....those are really cute totally names and everyone will be like ....oh that is cute...and you will be like ....yeah i wanted something cool because normal names are so dumb and i want to make my child stand out with her name and so they will have a hard time spelling it in first grade and the boy next you that you think is cute tells you that you are dumb and call you kissidie....i am not bitter

  112. Braxler/Dallin/Tayden/Kimball for the dude...

    and

    Baylee/Teagon/Mykynna/Ashton for the chick.

  113. Unikee-nus is the key! A gurly in my son's class is named... La-A pronounced La-dash-a. That is one awesome mom to come up with that one, but she probably had help, I bet. You can play with that a bit and you could come up with...
Ta-myn (pronounced - Tadashman) for the princyss feti and Jj-Wt (jadashed, just make the W silent) or since we have known these richous babes as Feti A and Feti B for, like, ever, just name 'em that, FetiA and FetiB! I mean, that's ultra uber trendy and richous!

  115. Give your girl a guy name and your guy a girl name or ones that are ambiguously both. Like Joey, Jordan, Morgan, Kelly, Pat...

    ReplyDelete
  116. Amberson and Taygan, most definitely. Anything else will go into the "weird, uggo Utah name" category!

    ReplyDelete
  117. I'm into visualizing success (thought that hasn't worked on your giveaways. YET) So...how about a cute little Heisman and his twin sister LittleMiss? You can't go wrong with positive thinking from day one.

    ReplyDelete
  118. WELL Here are mine. But don't steal them! They are just to help inspire you. These are my future children's names:

    Greighhaamm (Formerly Graham)
    Leeum (Formerly Liam)
    JaxXsun (Formerly Jackson)
    Madeesun (Formerly Madison)
    Oolrick (Formerly Ulrich)
and of course: Jewed (Formerly Jude)

We decided to have a British actor/character theme. Hope these names inspire you!

  120. Is it weird that Tayber & Taygan are actually starting to grow on me? I am such a mormon.

    ReplyDelete
  121. Oh and instead of Abercrombie and Fitch (because yes that is so 2009) You could either use Ruehl because that is Abercrombie's way cooler and more expensive brand. OR you could let fashion week inspire you. Like Marc Jacobs and Von Furstenberg.

    ReplyDelete
  122. I agree with adding as many vowels as possible like this fellow commenter said..."Ashley's so much cuter when it's spelled Ashoeleighye". But it is also so so creative to have as many syllables as possible...
    MacKayleelynna
    MacBraxtonson
    MacKadenson
    Liliannalynn

    ReplyDelete
  123. ...and right now, all across Utah and beyond, are numerous Mormon mommies who are choosing their baby names off this list! Come on, you know it's true!

    ReplyDelete
  124. If ya like Cliffany, but think its too used, how about Epiphany? Its some religious word, and you could even spell it cool, like Apiffany or something. Or Heavenlee or Celestial would be ubercute too.

For the boy, how bout Stripling? Its BOM without being boring, and when he grows up you could call him Strip which is kinda hot.
Or you could always just go with JJWT Golden. Its a little on the long side, but TOTALLY has stud/leadership potential.

    ReplyDelete
  125. Because of TAMN's ability to spell things so 'uniquely' on a regular basis, I have no doubt she will have any problem doing the same for her babies names.
As far as Edward and Bella go...people come on! They are engaged in a "forbidden love". You don't want that scandal for TAMN's precious feti. Don't name a brother and sister after people who make monster babies together. You're setting them up for disaster.

    ReplyDelete
  126. Maybe I missed it amidst the other comments but why hasn't anyone suggested Renesmee and Jacob or Stephenie and Pancho. I mean Twilight has changed our lives how can you not honor it with your children? It's the least we can do.

    ReplyDelete
  127. Ok, so its no "MacKayleelynna" but what about Jett and Hadley (boy and girl)? Super unique and has major celebrity potential!

    ReplyDelete
  128. Someone suggested McKelltsee. Perfect! It hits all the right notes (another option would be Cheltsee). I'd go with Heber Jay for the stud. Although, Heber Jae would be darling for the princess. I don't suppose you'd consider Urim and Thummim, or Urym and Thummym.

    ReplyDelete
  129. I like Donnie and Marie but to make them unique you need to change the spelling. Like Dahnii and M'Reigh.

    ReplyDelete
  130. I've always been a fan of completely different spellings than what the name actually sounds like. So you can name your girl JaCole, but spell it "P-h-i-l-l-i-p." For serious, it's going to be a huge trend in the celebrity game soon.

    ReplyDelete
  131. OMG I've got it Xyon!! (as in Zion but way more original. It gives it a little modern twist!

    ReplyDelete
  132. TAMN since I know you lurve merican idol so much, how about naming your boy feti Archuletta and your girl feti could be named after Paula and you could totally name her Abdul....

    ReplyDelete
  133. My great-grandma's twin sisters were Thelma and Delma. Wouldn't work for M/F twins. Whenever we have twins, we're naming them Hurricane and LaVerkin. Nothin' like the tradition of naming your kids after Utah towns.

-Kamis (named after Kamas, older sister of Torrey and Logan)

    ReplyDelete
  134. None of these names start with "Mc" There is something very very wrong with that! But I guess you know that is soooooooooooooo 90's! Isn't the hot trend these days giving your daughter a boy's name like Jordan...or a name from the 1800's like Isabella? And for boys, it absolutely must end in "aden"

    ReplyDelete
  135. If I was having twinners, I would name my little studster...

    Bischup

because it would be so funny when he's 20 and gets made Bishop to call him Bishop Bischup

and I would name my pink princess

    Maunsunn

after the profit, Pres. Monson, only spelled cuter.

    ReplyDelete
  136. I'm way more richus than you. I picked Book of Mormon names for BOTH my boys, but of course I went with youneek spellings because I live in Utah. I'm so proud of my Leighmannn and Lemyule!

You could go with Abish and Alma if you want to be as good as me.

    ReplyDelete
  137. Whatever you do, apostrophize it.

    T'Icole
    J'Amber
    Jor'Fany
    M'Ason
    Ja'Cole
    Nic'Lor
    Meg'Es
    W'Amber

    You are welcome!

    ReplyDelete
  138. Clearly I don't live in Zion b/c these names made me throw up in my mouth a little bit. What is Lynzii naming her feti? You should find out and then steal the cutest one for your princess.

    ReplyDelete
  139. BTW, your ticker at the bottom says your gaining a pound a week? Come on TAMN, cool it. Time for a little more diet coke, a little less cake (apparently!)

    ReplyDelete
  140. girl - Prisabella (you could call her Pris for short, kind of like princess, only unique)

boy - Stedward (now if that doesn't sound like prince charming combined with macho man, well...)

    ReplyDelete
  141. girl - Prisabella (you could even call her Pris for short, kind of like Princess only uniquer)

boy - Stedward (totally macho, responsible, honorable prince charming right?)

    ReplyDelete
  142. Tiffaley and Tayber!!!

    ReplyDelete
  143. BAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!! Renesmee and Benesemee???

    ReplyDelete
  144. What about Lehi and Leaha Hona?

    ReplyDelete
  145. Even more unique than a hybrid of parents' names is a hybrid of names of known Islamic terrorists and their wives.

I suggest Juhaylid (Khalid + Juhaynah).

    -Your Sanitary Source

  146. Born in ZION? Prove the righteousness of your seed!

    Stud:
*Zenoch/Isaiah/Omner/Nephi* (See what I did there? All 4 names can be found in the BoM; and the initials totally spell out ZION)

    Princess:
You can totally take more creative liberty with female names and get away with it, so here goes:
    *Zteffany/Isabella/Olyvya/Nantzie*

    .-.-.-.-.-

If you wanna go more mysterious/exotic with the chick, you could go with a name like Xy (pronoucned "sigh") or Gemayka.

    .-.-.-.-.-

OR...you could bring back ANCIENT NAMES such as:
*Lorenzo, Abraham, Caesar, Michelangelo, or Zeus for the little man.

*Cleopatra, Amethyst, Isis (the most powerful of all goddesses-pronounced ICE-iss), Athena, or Flora for the girl.

Just some ideas for originality's sake.

    ReplyDelete
  147. TAMN, you don't have to choose!!! You can name her everything. You and the squeeze have eight names between you. Why would you not want your kids to have at least that many? You don't need dashes, but I admit it's pretty cool to pronounce the "dash." But here's what I think. If modern hip moms are pronouncing the dash, I think they should pronounce their apostrophes too. Little L'ticia is called Ellapostropheteesha. I think that's pretty danged euphonious and would sound awesome in her Junior Miss pageant.

    ReplyDelete
  148. I think you should incorporate the names of the children the best slash hottest candidayte EVA, Sarah Paylon. Track, Bristol, Willow, Piper, Trig . . . unforchunately, they're almost becoming commonplace. Track? It's been done. HOWEVER, you could combine them with your names, to get something totally fresh, original, and assuring of success future p'litickle aspirashuns! (Your twins would make such a hot prez/vice ticket, TAMN.)

    Weck/Trigdan/Willor/Brisson for the stud
    Piperly/TraCole/Willany/Meglow for the princess.

Of course, Lynzii has probably picked out TriKohle/Willaneigh/MGlo for her triplets, so that will never do. Yul have to go with the Romnster's kids instead (Tagg, Matt, Josh, Ben, and Craig). So frump, I know, but if anyone can sparkle something up, it's you! How about

    Tayg/Benlorson/Craigdan/Tagglor

    and

    Maysen/Jordashe/Bennani/Taggber

    ?

    ReplyDelete
  149. how about india jacole and jazz braxtyn
pretty rad (and unique) if you ask me

  150. I was struck by a soap oprah. The creators just went outside and looked around to name the characters. You could so totally do that to honor the world God gave us.

    Girl: Grasslynn or Treena

    Boy: Rockson or Rainden

    ReplyDelete
  151. I think you should go in a different direction and name them the oh-so-classical JACK and JILL.

    ReplyDelete
  152. Candon for a boy and Amarah for a girl.

    Peryss (Paris)
    Bostynne (Boston)
    M'Addysyn (Madison)
    Lundyn (London)
    J'Axun (Jackson)
    Ostenn (Austin)
