Tridg's weenie

Also tons of you (TMI ALERT!) wanted to know if we circumscized Tridger.

......

......

Ruth was soooooo outraged by our circum-decision, but, after alot of prayer....

I realized it was definately best if him and JJWT were matchy-matchy.

Don't you think?

  1. yes, that is precisely why we didn't

  2. So, are we supposed to already know the status of your husband's nether regions?

    ReplyDelete
  3. It had to be done TAMNers. Who wants extra skin on that thing? Ewww!!!

    ReplyDelete
  4. Um...
How is that fair to Alivyiah? Now she won't be the first of the twins to have cosmetic surgery!

    Where are your priorities?

  5. Circumcisions were nothing but trouble for our boys ... sure, matchy matchy ... but poor little guy! PLEASE, make sure it doesn't get infected! I just hope I have nothing but girls from here on out!

  6. SAD that Ruth isn't 'in on the plan' like you and JJWT are. Everyone KNOWS even though it isn't like, you know, in the handbook or anything, ALL Celestial-minded couples make sure their little boy's pee-pees get the little slice-y slice. Way to be an good example. JJWT is TOTALLY on his way to Mission prez status! Wouldn't that be awesome!?!?!? You'd be the hottest wife there and you could righteous-flirt with all the cute little missionaries and motivate them to do their best so they can go home and marry someone almost as hot as you!

  7. His future beauty-queen/pageant-girl is totally thanking you right now. Well maybe her mums is because we all know the future Mrs Tridg be 2.5 years younger than he is.

  8. oh wow.
just when i think it can't get better...

  9. Oh.

    my.

    Gosh.

This might be the hardest I've laughed at a post yet. Perfect.

    ReplyDelete
  10. Oh wow.

    Dead on, TAMN, dead on.

    ReplyDelete
  11. Ew. I can't believe you would discuss this.

    ReplyDelete
  12. HAHAHA! Are you stealing ideas directly from my sister-in-law's blog?

    ReplyDelete
  13. No fence, but gRosS :/

    ReplyDelete
  14. This really doesn't answer the question, does it?

    ReplyDelete
  15. I'm so glad you are SO unselfish with your deets. I mean, telling us about Tridg's weenie is one thing but letting us know about JJWT's manpart is like, TOTAL SERVICE! SO GLAD I KNOW!!!

Also, I would love to know (because it's totally my business) how long you are gonna wait til you accidentally get pregnant again. I mean, are you a "Pop Em All Out And Get It Done" kind of girl or a "Drag Out Motherhood For An Eternity" girl?

    ReplyDelete
  16. Matchy-matchy! Too funny. But really, is your new little man going to notice your grown man's bits? I somehow doubt JJWT goes commando around the house when the little people are awake! If so we need to hear about that (and the emotional damage he is already doing to your little ones!!!)

    ReplyDelete
  17. Wow TAMN, I never would have thought you were down for genital mutilation! Ewwww!

So do you think JJWT (and now Tridg) are in for a big surprise when they get resurrected?

    ReplyDelete
  18. you just make sure aaliviyah gets a boob job later so she can be matchy-matchy with mommy, too.

    ReplyDelete
  19. so if Tridger and JJWT are matchy-matchy, how soon will Alivyiah is getting chest enhancement soon?

    ReplyDelete
  20. As my physician father once said, "If the issue of circumcision isn't dealt with at birth, it will raise its ugly head later in life."

HAHAHA! Needless to say, we all died laughing. Get er done TAMN. I've taken care of too many elderly male patients who had to have circumcisions late in life due to complications.

  21. Hats off to TopHat's comment, I totally agree.

    ReplyDelete
  22. wow- you really sidestepped that question!
I laughed so hard when I stumbled on this site- thanks for the chuckles.

    ReplyDelete
  23. def, like father like son right?

    ReplyDelete
  24. So great that you warn about TMI, but really, that does not exist for you. Your life (and that of your entire family) is an open book.

    Neat-o...

    ReplyDelete
  25. Really...do people care?

    ReplyDelete
  26. NO! It says in the D&C NOT TO!!!!!!!!!!! THAT'S THE SCRIPTURES! TAMN! Did you really just risk the salvation of your child???????????????????

    ReplyDelete
  27. HAHAHAHAHAHAHA... thank you for that.

    ReplyDelete
  28. Jesus was circumcised. Just sayin'!

    ReplyDelete
  29. TAMN..this is my first comment ever..but felt the need. I have 4 boys (not all at once..nothing close to your fertile womb!!)They all had the little snip snip...and are all great kids. No need to add any more pressure in Jr. High right!! (not that your little bundle of perfection will have to deal with that!) Keep the Joy!! Kate

  30. okay, wait. Um, I'm sure your decision was the right one, but what, exactly, was your decision?? Did you clip or did you not? If so, did you watch? Did he scream? If not, do you really take the time to clean it every time he needs a diaper change? Or.... I mean. I'm just dying to know here.

    ReplyDelete
  31. Yup, matchy matchy is best. Besdies, you can't show him the answers he may need about that someday, send him to your super stud muffin for that.

    ReplyDelete
  32. {hands over eyes} AAAHHHH! TAMN!

    ReplyDelete
  33. I think that Ruth needs to mind her own beez wax. She doesn't have any sort of motherly instinct, because her garden womb is odiously empty. I swear these RM sister slash self righteous frumpy spinsters need to get over themselves. The worse thing any righteous girl can do is go on a mission!

    ReplyDelete
  34. I want to know about how Tridg and Aliviyah already sleep through the night (coinicidentally, wasn't that the night you let them cry for four hours? And then they just put themselves to sleep?) Way to not let those babies manipulate you TAMN!!! So greatful that you could TEACH them to perform an automatic biological function. You are such a good mommy. Who knows what else you could teach the twinzers by leaving them to cry!!!

    ReplyDelete
  35. Seriously I'm so blessed to have your blog.

    ReplyDelete
  36. I have three boys + a husband and they all match. It is very important.

    ReplyDelete
  37. Good! Because covered wagons are so, icky!!!

    ReplyDelete
  38. It's like decorating. Important to have a coinciding colorscheme!

    ReplyDelete
  39. that kind of boy matching is just as important as the kids matchy matchy clothes for their first photo shoot!

    ReplyDelete
  40. I love that you talked about circum-decision but never commit to what you did!! Hi-LAR!!

    ReplyDelete
  41. I love how some people don't get the satire of this blog....

    ReplyDelete
  42. Its totally not good for little boys self ersteem win their noodles don't match their daddy's. It makes them feel different and thus not a part of the family.....

ask Julie Hanks...I'm sure she'd agree.

    ReplyDelete
  43. I'm sure you've started your special savings account for A's "Graduation Augmentation"!

    ReplyDelete
  44. What I love most is that you titled this post "Tridg's weenie" :)

I was one of the ones that asked this question, TAMN, and you tease me by not really answering??

    ReplyDelete
  45. oh for sure. btw, have you gone shopping yet for a new wardrobe???? you know, cause you're already skinnier than you were before getting preo? i'll be you're like a size -1 now. you are so amazing tamn!!!

    ReplyDelete
  46. We will be taking our little miracle to urology at Primary's for a little snip-snip. Alls I'm saying, is if was good enough for Jesus, why not everyone?

    ReplyDelete
  47. It is so great that you really take time to blog about the really important stuff. I love this post- these details are what make you such a great mom.

    ReplyDelete
  48. matchy is good...did you get the princess's ears pierced?

    ReplyDelete
  49. You are so clever. I love how you always answer questions but don't really answer them. You should run for some sort of political office.

    ReplyDelete
  50. Ummm yeah way TMI!! BTW when are you gonna announce the finalists for the mo'matechelor? I am a spinsty and my sis. nominated me (can't wait to FINALLY meet my very own anglenugget).

    ReplyDelete
  51. People are so funny. Don't they realize you did NOT answer the question, to circum; to not circum. I love this blog and all the fun comments. :D Thanks for the laugh!

    ReplyDelete
  52. OMG TAMN!!! I tOtALLY agree- I have ALWAYS thought that was the best reason I've heard- all that other stuff is just lame and boring. You are SO right, as usual.

    ReplyDelete
  53. i laughed out loud at the title of this post, and then some more with all the comments. covered wagons... noodles...

    ReplyDelete
  54. You might as well get Tidg used to cosmetic surgery while he's young!

I here Alivyiah's getting chubs! When's the lipo scheduled?

    ReplyDelete
  55. Seriously, one of the best decisions you'll ever make.

    ReplyDelete
  56. Btw. . . the circumcision reference is here:

    D&C 74: 2-3, 6
2 Now, in the days of the apostles the law of circumcision was had among all the Jews who believed not the gospel of Jesus Christ.
3 And it came to pass that there arose a great acontention among the people concerning the law of bcircumcision, for the unbelieving husband was desirous that his children should be circumcised and become subject to the claw of Moses, which law was fulfilled.
    • • •
    6 That their children might remain without circumcision; and that the atradition might be done away, which saith that little children are unholy; for it was had among the Jews;

This clearly states that this was a tradition under the law of Moses and has been done away with when it comes to the Gospel of Jesus Christ. To the Jews it's still a tradition because it reminds them of their duty to God, with which I have no problem. But to say that you did it because you wanted it to match his fathers or because you didn't want him to have any more "tension" in the locker room is just absurd. My husband was circumcised and the boys in his locker room made fun of him because he was and they weren't so think about that.

  57. hee hee

    Helk yes!

    And I love Paula's comment!

    ReplyDelete
  58. Umm people she didnt do the snip. Her man hunk is unc'd. Ummmm Trust me I know. ;)And she's right he is hot!

    ReplyDelete
  59. Amy who said "So do you think JJWT (and now Trig.) are in for a big surprise when they get resurrected?"

I LOVE YOU. That was the most brilliantly hilarious commentary about circumcision ever written.

    ReplyDelete
  60. The title of this post is my favorite....ever. Pure genius!

    ReplyDelete
  61. That is how we (and my sister I might add--and we both have 3 boys) made our decisions...respectively... They need to look the same so they don't think they are freakish. :) Love your blog. Can't believe you have twinners and are so teeny...although I've never met ya. but I have a 6 month old and still have 10 more lbs. to go....ugh.

    ReplyDelete
  62. But how will Tridg develop a sense of individuality if he's matchy-matchy? Think about it, TAMNers!
