deepest post ever.

Guys.

{serious sigh}

Done a ton of reflexion lately on who I am as a cute, skinny neighbor and a wifey and a mommy and a freind and a example of fitness and spirituality, and decided that I am a growing and learning and empowering as I become a different person with a bumload of maturity and insight seeking to inspire, refine and reach out to other's.

Theretofore, it's time for me to take a fake brake from blogging and persue a different path for my family. Farewell and thanx for the memories and CTR and, I'm telling you this bc I care, put down that cookie.

{We all know I will be blogging again tomorrow. I just post this deep stuff sometimes to illicit applause slash sympathy about how hard and busy my life is. So, proceed}

  2. BAHAHAHA! Love this, and see it all the time. "I'm going to stop blogging." and then two or three days later they are blogging all the time again. Dead on.

  3. I love that you are being self-reflective and its not even new year's day. I usually don't do that stuff until I'm am forced to by circumstances (like a day of nothing but football games.)

  4. being the self-less person you are I know you would never leave us to our pitiful selves, alone out there without your guidance. see you tomorrow!

  5. Your life must be at least harder than Cher's, who had multiple farewell tours. Kudos to you for keeping it all together and continuing on in life!

  6. NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

(is that what you were going for?? Was that enough attention???)

    ReplyDelete
  7. I just don't know how you do it all. Your life is SO HARD.

    ReplyDelete
  8. If you stop blogging I WILL KILL MYSELF.

There, is that validating enough for ya?

    ReplyDelete
  9. Are you taking a facebook detox, too?? You will so grow from it.

  10. Love it. I never understand why people announce blogging breaks. People take breaks from blogging all the time and never say a word.
What, are you trying to prepare me for the loss of your blog? Is my life, without your blog THAT meaningless?
Maybe it is, maybe it isn't, but assuming it is... well... we all know what happens when you assume.

  11. You are like the Jon Gosselin of Bloggers. I'm pretty sure he has bid farewell to his children at least 10 times.

Now, all you need is a slutty babysitter for JJWT.

  12. Yeah, your life is tuff! But at least you don't have to go give a victim impact statement at the Utah State Prison to try to keep your scummy ex-husband behind bars for a few more years. Off to Point of the Mountain I go.

    On second thought,
    Your life really is harder.

  13. How did you know I was eating a cookie?!!

    ReplyDelete
  14. sigh. I wish I had 'a bumload of maturity'

    ReplyDelete
  15. How can I put down the cookie when I have just learned that my very best friend and example is deserting me? This is stress eating Tamn. Just think how monstrously fat I'll be by tomorrow when you come back to say you inspired to keep blogging.

  16. LOVE YOU!!! enjoy your sabbatical hiatus

  17. There is just nothing quite as impressive as a bumload of maturity. Way to let that light shine.

    ReplyDelete
  18. How can you possibly become deeper and more mature without blogging?

Go back and read your own posts and you'll see it's true. Then grace us with a post of, "I was just reading my post on X date and I didn't realize it at the time but what I said was so deep and true!"

I'm glad that bloggers like yourself warn us before the deep posts. Because it serves as a warning that you are way over our heads - out there. Somewhere.

  19. Wow. I found your blog last week, and I haven't accomplished much of anything at work ever since. Reading about your life sure gives me hope...hope that my wife can become more like you. You are so fit, (for the kingdom) hawt, and constantly reach out to others, in your very special way.

Thanks for not putting your candle under a bushel. Keep wearing those modest supertites, so all of us can enjoy your testimonies.

  20. I was real bummed there for a second...you shouldn't scare us like that!

    ReplyDelete
  21. If you stop blogging, I won't shave my legs again until you do.

    ReplyDelete
  22. So is this where you want lots of comments with sympathy and telling you you're a good person so you won't stop???

    ReplyDelete
  23. I didn't realize that you did things "illicitly"!

    ReplyDelete
  24. Oh my gosh TAMN! How could you even do that to your followers, who hang on your every word and—let's be honest—probably wouldn't even be active if it weren't for your example.

BUT... Maybe it's time to focus on your infertilities. I mean, you're not getting any younger. Seriously, if you weren't married by now you'd be an old maid. But since you are married but you only have two kids, well... Get on it, girl!

    ReplyDelete
  25. I admire you and all you do. Please post again when you're ready!

  26. Tamn! i hope someday, when i'm a cute stylish non-frumpy mommsie of twinners myself that i can be as deeply inspired and well rounded and heartfelt and DaRlInG as your cute self. you truely are an inspiration to us single ladies. a reel roll-model for us to strive to be like. and i heart you and your adoreableness!

  27. I too am taking a fake brake from bloggin, to prepare myself for the release of New Moon. It's like a speritual event for me. I can already fill my testomoney growin from Edward's righteousneseness

    ReplyDelete
  28. TAMNers, you know I look to you for inspiration. I need your guidance in my life.

    ReplyDelete
  29. Your new header cracks me up.

    ReplyDelete
  30. Oh my gosh, please don't go. I just found you, I can't stand to say goodbye to you so soon. DON'T GO.

    ReplyDelete
  31. Whew, you scared me for a second!

    ReplyDelete
  32. Say it ain't sooooooooooooooooo!

    ReplyDelete
  33. I honestly read a lady's blog who tells her readers about once a week she needs to stop blogging and focus on her family, just to write a post later that day. It is hilarious.

    ReplyDelete
  34. No, pleeze don't stop blogging, TAMN! You're blog is the highlight of my life. Where would we all be and who would learn fashion/losing el-bees/catching hot hubbies/birthing twinsies lessons if not right here at SSB?

Don't leave us all out in the cold like that, TAMN. What would Jesus do?

    ReplyDelete
  35. I was a bit freaked out there myself. I'm like, why would she quit? NOOOOOO! I'm so glad you didn't, you're one funny lady!

    ReplyDelete
  36. "bumload of maturity" you have to be at least 12 different people I know... I am laughing so hard my ribs hurt.

Your life is so busy and amazing! Good luck turning in-ward (in the most out-ward way) and focusing on your awesome little family. Like making/buying cute outfits for the twins and taking thousands of photos to post--er not post.

    ReplyDelete
  37. Wow, TAMN, reflexive is a real word! Probably not the one you were thinking.

    ReplyDelete
  38. I'm sooooooooooooo glad you will be writing again tomorrow, you definitely inspire me to put that cookie down (or in this case, right now it's chips). Thanks for all your advice and keep up the awesome work.

    ReplyDelete
  39. Oh wow you scared me! Literally I was actually scared you wouldn't be here any more. That would brake my heart.

    ReplyDelete
  40. HAHAHA i love seeing this post and then a new one a week later!!

    ReplyDelete
  41. Seriously NOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!! ...Okay is that enough applause slash sympathy? Now back to my cookie...;)

    ReplyDelete
  42. Blogging is simply journaling, it's not your life. The profits of olden times, like Spencer Kimball, told us we need to journal so our posteriority will be blessed. Do it for the twinners.

    ReplyDelete
  43. "illicit applause slash sympathy".

How can I get me some of that?

    ReplyDelete
  44. YES! This is the best cure for writer's block (or anyway blogger's block) that I know of. For me, I think this is how it works: When I say I won't blog anymore, it removes all my sense of duty to document my family's doings or to write anything meaningful, which gives me a new sense of permission to write about totally trivial and meaningless things--which puts me right back at business as usual!

About a week ago I did see a blog where the blogger not only said she needed to take a break and focus on her family, but she also TOOK DOWN ALL HER POSTS. Every last little archived one of them. The only thing left was her little "See ya later, losers!" post. (Not a direct quote.) I thought, yeah, why don't you just go ahead and toss that baby out the window with the bathwater? Because it's not like anybody's ever going to do a Google search and find something in your archives and give you one hit on your blog for that day, thus fulfilling the purpose of your existence, or anything.

    ReplyDelete
  45. Definitely don't forget to "take a break" from Facebook as well. Just enough time for me to miss your tri daily posts, and then come back!

    ReplyDelete
  46. Deep thoughts, love them. So here is my deep thought: life just gets more HUMBLING!!!! All I know i that I do not know much!!!

    ReplyDelete
  47. should I feel guilty that I had literally just eaten a cookie before I read this? I think your warning was too late, TAMN

    ReplyDelete
  48. seriously. i have to know.
    are you from utah?
    tell the truth.

    ReplyDelete
  49. Nice! I was waiting for this one. you do so much for everyone else including your E-BFFs. It's about time you look out for yourself and make more time for your manis and pedis.
I still ate the cookie, sorry.

    ReplyDelete
  50. *giggles* I think I might know a few women whose blogs you read for your inspiration. HAHAHAHAHA!

    ReplyDelete
  51. I'm eating a brownie so I'm going to ignore your friendly advice.

    ReplyDelete
  52. haha... i WAS eating a cookie as I read this :) thankx for the advice, TAMN - you're the best!

    ReplyDelete
  53. Enjoy every moment. You deserve it.

    ReplyDelete
  54. kinda dissapointed you haven't mentioned anything about New Moon coming out next week..... Where's the true vampire love?

    ReplyDelete
  55. OMH!!!! You totally can't go! What am i going to do at my stupid, something to do until I find my JJWT, job? I totally don't know if i can do it. And i'm totally not eating a cookie, it's a sugar free, fat free yogurt, but i may have to switch to cookies till you come back. I know this is for the best and that you need to take some time and focus on yourself. You are so giving and kind. I try to be more like you every day. Hugs! Tomorrow feels like forever away...

    ReplyDelete
  56. I know, seriuosly everyone took a break from blogging but then couldn't help but post pictures of the kiddos at Halloween.

    ReplyDelete
  57. I almost had a heart attack. NEVER leave us!

    ReplyDelete
  58. Satire:
    I got nothing
    Real Time:
    Still Nothing
    Hammer Time:
Oh yeah, I got something. However you'd be jealous because you don't have hammer pants, so I'm not going to show you.

  59. ..bumload of maturity...

    ..reach out to other's...

    PRICELESS.

    ReplyDelete
  60. You are so insightful...you know that right. How in the HECK did you know i was eating a cookie? Its like EPS or something...
Anyhooo right on for you taking a fake brake. Had many friends do this because the pressure or the "noise" was just to great to blog. OH BLECH.....
Their just attention seekers. But not you T...your fir real!

    ReplyDelete
  61. Pure genius. This post is so dead on, it's almost scary!

    ReplyDelete
  62. TAMN, don't stop blogging. How else will you get validation? Come on, you need us.

And we're all addicted and there's no TAMN rehab.

    ReplyDelete
  63. i've switched over to Lehi roller mills heart healthy bran muffins with no butter or jam or honey or anything else...i just feel skinnier.

    ReplyDelete
  64. Your blog is such a day brightener. Please don't scare me by saying that your leaving, even if your only pretending to leave. Love you, XOXO.

    ReplyDelete
  65. I think the cookie comment outdid any other post ever.

    ReplyDelete
  66. It's not a cookie, it's a twinkie!

    ReplyDelete
  67. You're going to disobey the prophet by stopping writing in your journal?!? TAMN, blogging is part of the plan!!! It's like doing family history without having to do boring stuff like research dead people! Repent and return!

    ReplyDelete
  68. I guess I don't read enough blogs... I've never seen anyone commit this sin.

What I DO see is people not blogging for awhile, then coming back and posting something about how they're just having so much FUN enjoying the outdoors and having crazy zany adventures that they haven't blogged... thus trying to make those of us who HAVE blogged feel like our lives are inferior to theirs in fun-ness.

LOVE the costco/sam's club survey. I'm so glad Costco is kicking trash.

  69. Oh. My. Gosh. I totally misread this. I thought you said Fake Bake Break. Whoa.
Now that's like a totally great idea, right?
What are you wayting for? Hunh?

  70. I wish I had a bum load of ANYTHING, (except bum).
