  20. Does this make your mom a spinsty? I can't believe you would publicly admit that. No wonder you borrowed someone else's mom the first time JJWT met her.

  21. Yeah? Well Donny's older brother, Tom, was totally my mailman when I was in college. He was like a super close friend, and I even invited him to my wedding. Cha!

  25. TAMNers, I'm, like, so happy for you and also happy the DWTS is over, so we can get back to BEST-EST dancing show on TV, So You Think You Can Dance. I think there's at least 3 Mormons on there. I mean, Ryan and Ashleigh and Mollee are all from Zion!

    ReplyDelete
  26. My husband's sister is good friends with one of the Osmonds and lived in the same ward for a while.

I won't say which one so you all won't be jealous.

  28. I couldn't resist my sharing my real life Osmond tie-in--it's not flattering so hardly a brag! You can read all about it.. Former Software Giants, Pregnancy and Ridiculous Labor Laws

  29. Everyone doesn't understand the whole "IN COLLEGE" thing and all picky on the timeline on him being married or whatever.

Living in Happy Valley, amongst the college goers and zoobies also qualifies non-collage goers as their "college years" as well.

    Didn't they know?

  30. I've never met him but he seems like a nice fellow. Did he take your mom to the creamery and buy her a milkshake?

    ReplyDelete
  31. of course she did, all of our mom's dated at least one Osmond and thanks to there wives having so many buttloads of kids, we and probly someday our daughters can do the same.

    ReplyDelete
  32. He probably would have dragged your mom on stage too, had she been in the audience!

  33. His nephew dated my niece for a few months. My son went down stairs in their house one time to get his cousin out of bed and found an Osmond sleeping on the couch. It was late when he was going to leave and ended up on their couch. He said he was really nice. I don't remember his name but it was one of Merrills's sons. She's been married a year, so it was a few months before that as she didn't date her husband long before she married him. We could be related because of this:D

  34. yah well I met him backstage at his Las Vegas concert (like 6 years ago) because my sister was a stage hand and the techs wanted to borrow my dog to bring out onstage during "Puppy Love" but then they decided not to because the didn't want to tick off the PETA people so we went back after his awesome concert to pick up our dog and we met him. He was sweaty.

He also gave my sister a cold. It's almost like that mirrorball trophy is actually mine.

My sister also saw Penn and Teller naked. I know all the famous people 'cuz of her.

  35. Hey TMNRs! Two of my nieces put their DH's in charge of the kiddos and started shopping the mauls at midnight and haven't been scene since. Did you lead the charge on black Friday or were you so organized you had your prezzies all bought, under wraps, and shipped afore Halloween?

  37. My best friend and I saw Jimmy Osmond at a convience store buying ice cream in Provo in 1986. But they weren't very cool at that time so we didn't freak out or anything.
