To My Twins: Best Month Ever!

Happy One Month Birthday {the other day} to Tridger & Alivyiah!!

My dearest darlings, Alivyiah TreCole and Tridger Kaegrin,

Holy crap, you are the best babies ever! Seems like just yesterday I was squeezing you out of my dainty womb that shrunk back to teensy w/in seconds of expelling you, and here you are, on your one month birthday! I fill sooooo bad for everyone whose not me bc they aren't you're mom and being your mom is the best.

Love cuddling you, love handing you off to Queenie & Glamma when you get get mad or gross, love putting earplugs in while you cry it out til you get sleep trained, love manipulating daddy with how hard it is to be me, love how you giggle when I put a bit of diet coke in a straw and drop it in your little mouths, love how you snuggle up to my warm glowing skin when I first get home from tanning, and and love the paper chain countdown I made til you're two months and they'll FINALLY let me pierce Alivyiah's ears! There are just so many joys I'd of never understood til you were born! I could just eat you up, can even you imagine??? That would be crazy!

Anyways, here're a few mile stones I never want to forget, and want to make sure all my e-BFFs see and are not only impressed with your giftedness but also impressed with my dedicatedness as a mommy to keep these records dilligently.

April 6: first runny poo
April 7: first BATHTIME!! darling.
April 8: first smiles, maybe just from tootie toots but SOOOOO CUTE!
April 9: Strangers asked mommy if she was your nanny bc she was so darling and teensy there's no way she just had twins.
April 10: two week appt, got above the 50th percentage for weight so I cut back your feedings to help you not be fatties
April 12: first medium poo
April 14: first large poo
April 18: first trip to Cheesecake

  1. Oh my gosh I am so amazed/discouraged that you kept such detailed records of the twinsies firsts! I am so not as righteous as you! Thanks for the inspiration, I'm going to start recording my little stinkerbuttons poos right away!

  2. Ha! Pierce her ears already. Too bad that is so true...

  3. OMGosh ! Seriously so hilarious. I cannot tell you how many Mommy-blogs I've seen where they go on and on about bowel habits of their infants. This is spot on. Brilliant. (((Hugs)))) from D.

  4. Childhood obesity is on the rise and plaguing our nation--way to go with training the twinsies young to minimize portion size so they'll always have svelte figures! They'll thank you later.

  5. how presh! They are so lucky you are cutting back their feedings so they don't get fat! I know the Doc's say they need to gain weight for their brain development or whatever, but I would WAY RATHER have my kids be skinny than smart!

  6. No record of first seedy mustard poop?

No record of umbilical cord falling off? With two of those, you could have them encased in resin and made into darling dangly earrings. Please don't tell me you threw them away!

  7. What? No picture of their first poo explosion diaper blow-out?

  8. ell-oh-ell.

Although you spelled Alivyiah's name wrong once (forgot the "v"). I just hope you got it right in the vinyl.

  9. I think you mean they've been "gagging" on diet coke, not "giggling."

And, when are we going to see PICTURES (of those poos)?!?

  10. So I know you totally have a lot going on right now, but if you want to still be the best mom ever, you can't be spelling your little girl's name wrong {Aliyiah's ears}. TAMNers, I'm so disappointed. Frownsmile for sure!

  11. fortieth photo sesh with bizzare props! Love it! Don't forget to get pics of them stashed them in random drawers and bookshelves, like you haven't already done that!

  12. Did you REALLY misspell one of your darling twinners names??? Wooopsie?

  16. Prospectively! Hahahaaaa And seriously...what's with the bizarre props for photo shoots with newborns?!

  17. Your records are so perfect. You will always want to remember and cherish each of their bowel movements. I know that's certainly what I remember about my children.
And you are so right, you can never start too early with the dieting. I'm just wondering when you're going to start taking them tanning with you. Make sure you start a paper chain for that!

  21. I'm shocked and disappointed that you waited until April 2nd to lose the baby weight. I think that just about totally and completely knocked you off the pedestal for me. A sad day indeed.

Have you got any advice for moms that can't keep up such a good appearance? (Obviously not me [frownsmile], but my visting teachee is totally strugglin' with her new triplets)

Um, I noticed they're not walking yet? My dd was walking at 3 weeks. Maybe they're a little behind because they're twins. I'm sure they'll catch up in no time but you might want to call your doctor about it.

  33. hahahahahha

Oh you are seriously so cute, Tamners.

    lurve you!!

  34. I love ALL of the poop documentaries. I'm taking notes, Tamn, I now know what to do for my baby book. So many mile stones I didn't even think to write down!!

  36. Oh my gosh, they are the CUTEST babies I've ever seen and I'm not just saying that! But how could they NOT be, with a mom as beautiful as you - blowouts and all lol lol lol!

  37. I heard that Linzy found a doctor that pierced her babies' ears when they were a month old. I'm SO SORRY that your baby will be twice as old as Linzy's babies when you get around to piercing. SAD! frownsmile.

    ALL BOY!

  38. wait wait wait! you forgot to tell us who pooped what, prospectively. i mean, i know they're twinners and all, but syncroneyezed poops? frills?

    ReplyDelete
  39. They should make diet Similac.

    ReplyDelete
  40. For some reason I just knew you'd be into sleep training. At like 5 days old.

    ReplyDelete
  41. That is seriously so funny that people even noticed that Alivyiah's bizarrely spelled name was not spelled bizarrely enough.

  42. missed posting the date of little Tridger's cirkumsishun, guess that means that matchy-matchy means JJWT wears a turtleneck.

  43. Love your blog. Congrats on your babies!!!!

  44. You just wait till they start talking. They will make you cry. My little La La broke my heart on Sunday when she wanted to know why she was the only kid in her class that hasn't been off this Continent. But, I'm sure you will do plenty of Jet Setting with the Twins. -Loves EK
