My big day, part III

Part I and Part II are just a click away, respectively

((Warning: BIRTH STORY. I'm only sharing graphic details bc this is my journal and bc for some reason a ton of my friends are preggo so I need to help them know what they have to look fwd to so if your a placenta hater don't read))

Seriously, it was amazing. I'll never forget when VirileNougat yelled "SICK!" so lovingly as our babies barrelled out of me one after in other. The actual coming out part was the best ever even though I heard a little riiiiiiip. I was sooooo excited for them to see us! After the doc wiped the yuckies off of them, he laid the darling former-feti on my rapidly shrinking tummers and JJWT and I checked their parts.

Then, I squoze my dainty pelvis and two placentas plopped out! It was awesome to see and all the nurses commented on the richness of its color slash texture. Sooo greatful for afterbirth!

One of my 25 amateur photog friends was there to take shrivelly naked pics of our StinkerPoops sitting in buckets but they're still getting over-photoshopped so I don't have them just yet but trust me they are GORGEOUS.

We are head-over-heals in love LOVE love w/ them! Everyone go have tons of babies it rocks. Know what I realized on my jog this morning? At first it was hard but now after 3 days home parenting is a total snap! Angelbabe and me and my mom and MIL and the MiaMaids are doing awesome!

I almost didn't tell you guys bc this is a PUBLIC BLOG but I can't keep it to myself...

Announcing....

Alivyiah TreCole
{our darling princess}

&

Tridger Kaegrin
{he is ALL. BOY.}

Aren't the names amazing? Do you love them? Tell me the truth!*

*do NOT tell me the truth, just say you love them.

  1. phonetics totally ROCK!!!

  2. Alivyiah TreCole - what a sweet little pudding! Can't wait to see her! And Kaegrin Tridger - wow! Sarah Palin would be so totally impressed and will probably steal the name for her next munchkin!

    ReplyDelete
  3. I LOVE THE NAMES! Girl, mad props to you for already going jogging, although I am sure there is no baby fat to lose!

    ReplyDelete
  4. Who knew being a mom was so easy? At least, you MAKE it look easy, but that just means you excel at it right?! And those names...you must have been inspired--don't know by who, but inspired all the same!

    ReplyDelete
  5. Your babies names are the ab sweetest EVER! I hate it when people just name their precious gifts from HF just any ole thang and say Well I want people to be able to spell it. If you are WONDERFUL people will learn to spell it and if they don't you just have to pout and cry and make them. Congratz! The single most important part of motherhood is to put your make-up on every day b/c a hot mom is a happy mom!

    ReplyDelete
  6. SOOOOOO proud of you for jogging already. Some parents are just SOOO lazy after giving birth. I hope you have a way cool double jogger so you can take your stud/princess out with you and of KOARSE they are way too precious to get RSV in the crappy weather.

The names are better than Reneesme. So, props for that.

    ReplyDelete
  7. Mother always told me that if you can't say something nice, don't say anything at all. So I have no comment on the name for your beautiful princess and studly boy.
Are their nicknames going to be Ali and Trig?

    ReplyDelete
  8. baaa! those names are so great. kinda sad though too because they probably aren't true family names... just hybrids of family names. but that's cool if that's what you're into.

    ReplyDelete
  9. AMAZING. For the rest of their lives everyone will know that your offspring are native to Utah because of their names! Great job! It's so unkind to post photos to your blog that haven't been over-photoshopped so I commend you for being the perfect mom and thinking of your babies first before your E-BFF's who are dying to see them. Congrats!!!

    ReplyDelete
  10. you are such an inspiration, tamn! jogging - what a trooper! i want to be like you some day ...

and the names - wow! just wow!!

    ReplyDelete
  11. I.

    Love.

    You.

Not just for the names, but for "plopping out" the placentas.

    ReplyDelete
  12. I can see why you needed almost a week to post all the juicy deets about the birth - loved the plasenta descipshion! Bee shore to get the latest huge flower headband for little Alivyiah and French baret hat for Tridger to show them off at General Confernse this weekend. Try to get front row seats - you might get on camera and maybe you could ask security if one of the GA's could hold them up like a pretend proud Dad during their talk? Just wondering! What a way to introduce the feti to millions who are waiting!

    ReplyDelete
  13. Love the names Tamn! You are just so clever!

    ReplyDelete
  14. I have been misspelling Alivyiah for YEARS! Thanks for setting me straight, TAMN.

    ReplyDelete
  15. Am I the first person that's gonna ask how those names are pronounced? They'll get that the rest of their lives so they better get used to it!
Your birth does sound so awesome, especially when JJWT lovingly yelled "sick"! Please tell me your videographer caught that (you did capture this momenteous day on film, right?)

    ReplyDelete
  16. Oh my holy H. Was LOL-ing SO HARD. Giving birth sounds like way fun! So glad ur adjusting to mommy-hood so well on your own with the MiaMaids, MILs, SILs, VirileNugget, and Bunc/ko babes!

P.S. Do you ever see Lynzii jogging? Prolly not, bet she's still a tubbo!

    ReplyDelete
  17. P.S. Luuurve the names, you totally stole the ones I wanted!! YOU. ARE. SO. COOL!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  18. How do you pronounce Alivyiah (is it like Olivia? or is it more like Ally and Via together?)

Tridger is awesome - such a boys name!

Are you feeding the babies with evil bottles or are you giving them the milk from your nuzzle buttons? Just wondering

    ReplyDelete
  19. I was really hoping it would be Bella and Edward. These names are great too, though!

    ReplyDelete
  20. I LOVE what you worded them!! Those are the cutest words EVER!!!!!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  21. Way to birth TAMN! CUTEST names ever!!! Good work!

    ReplyDelete
  22. Oh my. There are no words.

    ReplyDelete
  23. LOVE the names!!! CONGRATS!!!! Welcome to Alivyiah TreCole and Kaegrin Tridger

    ReplyDelete
  24. "Sooo greatful for afterbirth!" Me too, TAMN, me too.

    ReplyDelete
  25. Their destined to be famous, either that or a prostitute and a cross-dresser LOL. You forgot to tell us how big the big-boy's big-boys are, and how you were so surprised and how JJWT said "that's my boy!" when he first saw them.

    ReplyDelete
  26. Just be sure that JJWT doesn't go all 'InsPuraTionAl' on you and change they're names when he blesses them at church. You better have him go over it with you in ADVANCE, so the sprite can touch both of you and he'll no what to say. PITY to see your little dude named after some FooTball slash bAsketBall slash xbox star. -Your E-BFF watching out for you... Lauren

    ReplyDelete
  27. Glad to hear that riiiippp isn't messing with your jogging. Talk about LA-AME!

    ReplyDelete
  28. You know you should save those placentas and use them to furtilize some new trees planted in the baby's hounor.

Congratulations! You make motherhood look so easy!

    ReplyDelete
  29. Please tell me you wore your pre preg clothes home!

    ReplyDelete
  30. They'll be spelling their names aloud for their entire lives. What's not to love?

    ReplyDelete
  31. That's wonderful that all your relatives and the Mia Maids are doing such a good job of caring for the newborns with the darling names. Motherhood's' a snap, isn't it? Nothing to it. XOXO, from D.

    ReplyDelete
  32. Those are the single cutest names I've ever heard. Seriously. They are so unique. Now if anybody has those names, it'll be because they stole them from a trend setter like you. Best. Names. EVER!

    ReplyDelete
  33. I should of known their was a reason you hadn't posted photos slash announcements. The names are totally kewl. Way more creative than those you prevously mintchoned. Also, way to take care of your body, already out jogging. I knew you'd have it all down fast. No need to be a frumpers.

    ReplyDelete
  34. GENIUS!!!!!!!! Thanks for making fun of those stupid over the top utah county names. I feel so bad for those kids who are named crap like that!

    ReplyDelete
  35. You *heard* the rip? I've torn before, but I guess my ears are less attuned than yours.

SOOOO happy that you got a girl that you can match all your boy's clothes to! I can't wait to see the Photoshopped bucket photos!

You are such an amazing writer! Thanks for sharing this spiritual journey with us -- it was just like being there!

    ReplyDelete
  36. my mom gave me the best advise. if lover-boy gets any ideas about name switching at the blessing. just simply stand up and say "Bish that man's not worthy."
And yeah I laughed so hard at your birth story. Mine gets better with time.
Next time you have feti's go the bed rest route. Everyone dotes on you and brings you fabulous dinners from Rio and cleans your house for you. It rocks.
That's when I got to read the whole TWILIGHT series as the YW scrubbed toilets (ick).
And I'm glad to hear your awesome Tamner body is back in shape already. Way to join the club of post preggo mommies who look fabo at church the next Sunday, Bet Lynzii can't say that.

    ReplyDelete
  37. Hahahaha I'm still laughing, especially at Kelly's comment- you should save the placenta and fertalize a tree in your children's names. OMYGOD I love it!! I haven't gone through childbirth yet, and I won't for quite awhile (I guess something called money plays a huge part in this thing called parenthood... the hubs isn't quite ready to give up financial freedom to a little being). The fact that you referred to them as feti is just genius. And their names are amazing (LOVE TRECOLE, my name is NiCole so I'm a big biased). Good luck to you and your wonderful family! I always enjoy reading your blog, and the child birth description makes it sound not so awful. :) Thanks for that

    ReplyDelete
  38. What day were they born? PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE tell me it was Saturday the 28th!! I'm totally desprit to have them be my b-day twinners!

    ReplyDelete
  39. Thanks for sharing your darling birthing story with us!

    ReplyDelete
  40. Wow TAMN you have to help me name my next one! You are a naming goddess... So are you breasting or bottling? Don't pump, it makes the nuzzle buttons saggy!

    ReplyDelete
  41. "Nuzzle buttons"?? Oh my word. I love this blog and its comments!

    ReplyDelete
  42. I maybe the ripping sound was their sweet spirits rushing through the veil. No 'fence but you shouldn't make birth sound even a teensy bit gross because motherhood is beautiful. I'm so glad JJWT has been so awesome! I hope he is supportive by never commenting on your bills or spending! LOL! Those names are completely unique and it is beautiful to have a regional name so everyone will know your babylets were born in Utah county, or maybe the Baltimore ghetto.

    ReplyDelete
  43. P.S. Last time I was in Utah I saw tons of hospital billboards advertizing, which I thought was oober weird since here you just go to the hospital that is in your town. Which one did you grace withyour presents?

    ReplyDelete
  44. TAMN, you are my inspiration for everything! I had my baby 2 months ago and I just started jogging again~ so envious-slash-happy that you are doing it so soon.

You know what I haven't heard about was how much fun you had at Scrapbook USA. I know you were there and won like every prize for all of your amazing pages/projects... where is your post? or are you just being super modest? Man, I wish I was as modest as you!

    ReplyDelete
  45. Tricky spelling of tricky names is so COOL!
It is so awesome, tons of attention when teachers can't say it right, and even WAY COOLER if you can't tell from the name if it is a he or a she.

So super trendy! You should write a name book!

    ReplyDelete
  46. Olivia Treacle? Oh my. And Tridger? (was he Sarah Palin's godchild?)

    ReplyDelete
  47. i hope you're saving their belly buttons when they fall off. Put them in a box, then when the rugrats get older you can take the dried buttons out & remember how they were once attached to you. presh!

    ReplyDelete
  48. Oh. My. The names are...um...amazing. Yes, I'm amazed. Wow. Just wait til they start school. But they'll never have to identify themselves by their last initial, so thank the Lord for small mercies.

    ReplyDelete
  49. Had to laugh at your lactating ticker. Hilarious!

    ReplyDelete
  50. OMG. I totally just realized you titled this post "My Big Day"

    ReplyDelete
  51. TAMN, I'm WAY excited for you and JJWT! And you are a total inspiration, you must be such a pioneer woman (except way less frumpy, ew) to still be having time to spend with your Mia Maids and go running and stuff now that your a rEaL mOm. I knew it wouldn't be as hard for you tho, since your TAMN!

    ReplyDelete
  52. I called the R.S. prez and told her I was happy to bring you dinner on Monday Night. Would you like me to bring celery sticks, or celery sticks with ranch? It will be for dinner, so don't be expecting any carbs past 3 pm.

    ReplyDelete
  53. I cannot even pretend to know of to say the boys name. Trid-ger... Trydge-er... Try-de-ger? Kay-grin? Kage-rin? Nope... no idea. Love them all the same

    ReplyDelete
  54. Oh no! I don't think I named my kids with enough random letters. I'm such a frump! Such a bummer that I had them before yours.

    ReplyDelete
  55. How many times have I commented to my husband about people saying their son is "all boy"? As if he might be part monkey? Love it.

    ReplyDelete
  56. WAY to PLOP them out! You will be seriously so blessed for doing what is right, I just know it.
Lurve you and your newest unfeti.

    Tam

    ReplyDelete
  57. Congrats on having an ALL BOY. Ones that are HALF BOY are icky.

    ReplyDelete
  58. Oh, I almost never comment but I saw the Lilypie ticker with 1 month 1 week and two days until your third degree tears heal and I about peed my pants (which is what happens after you get those third degree tears). This blog is awesome.

    ReplyDelete
  59. oh.em.GOSH! i totally *love* those names. it's the best b/c the are so unique, no one has thought of those names before!

    ReplyDelete
  60. L-O-V-E- love the names!
Just think of all the attention that they will have when people ask what their name is and then they have to spell it, and then they have to answer why they were named that, you are such a giving slash thoughtful slash wonderful mother!

    ReplyDelete
  61. "placenta hater" and "so greatful for afterbirth" = brilliantly hilarious!

"Everyone go have tons of babies it rocks" = Sadly and frighteningly accurate considering the source. Yikes.

    ReplyDelete
  62. How could you not {love the names} ?!?!

    ReplyDelete
  63. Those names are so cute. In fact, I know about 324 other people who named their twins that last week! Oh isn't it crazy how when one person chooses a name, everyone else just chooses it too. Oh I am so happy for you.

    ReplyDelete
  64. I can't believe you took those ever so precious names that I e-mailed to you that I was naming my twinners...you S.L.U.T....I hate you...but, now I love you!

    ReplyDelete
  65. TWO PLACENTAS? Glad to hear that (ok, so that is only amusing to me :P). TAMN you are amazing! You make we want to have another set of twins!

    AWE-SOME names!

    ReplyDelete
  66. They'll never find a keychain with their names on them...

    ReplyDelete
  67. HA HA HAA! As a mormon who lives outside of Utah, you got this one JUST RIGHT!! I've never understood the whole weird name/spelling combos that go on in the Baby State. GOOD ONE!

    ReplyDelete
  68. oh. Yes, well, those names... I mean, think of the children. Those names are so wretchedly -- beautiful. Of course. Are your boobs so awesomely huge? Bigger than Lynzii's?

    ReplyDelete
  69. TAMNs are you going to br**stfead or organic formula feed your wittle baby birdies? If the former, I would like to ask JJWT how he copes, if he's jealous or thinks its hot or whatever, respectively.

    ReplyDelete
  70. "I was so excited for them to see us"

    Awesome. You rock!

    ReplyDelete
  71. i love how you were able to use so many letters in their names! super cute and unique!

    ReplyDelete
  72. Gorgeous names! They are going to look sooo good when you decide to vinyl letter them in curly fonts in the nursury!

    ReplyDelete
  73. Congrats, TAMN! I bet those babies are adorble. Cute! I'm sure if I saw them I would litraly jus want to eat them right up! I CANNOT WAIT to take a bite out of thar chunky little baby legs and nibble thar yummy little cheeks off! I am so baby hungry, seriously!

btw, thx a lot for stilling my fave names that i've bin talking about for 5 yers! good thing we're not rillated.

    ReplyDelete
  74. Can I tatoo your kids' names on my arm (or even better, my butt?) you didn't eat your placenta, did you?

    ReplyDelete
  75. Those are definitely not the most hideous names ever, TAMN! Congrats! ;)

    ReplyDelete
  76. Best. [Utah] Names. Ever.

I can't wait to [constantly] hear what percentile they are in!

    ReplyDelete
  77. For reals TAMN, I had a dream last night that you named one of your babies Olivia! But I didn't think of that super cute spelling like you did. BAAA! What I want to know is HOW BIG are your moobs now, since you are breastfeeding two babies and they have been, um, enhanced? Is there any bra that can tame those suckers?!

    ReplyDelete
  78. Yikes, those are seriously the uniquest names ever.

    ReplyDelete
  79. Wow, nobody would be able to mistake you for anyone who lives outside of Utah!

    ReplyDelete

    ReplyDelete
  82. The countdown for your 3rd degree tear to heal is the funniest thing I have ever seen. I am still laughing!

    ReplyDelete
  83. I am TOTALLY laughing at your mockery of church things, being pregnant, mormons etc. Its such comic relief! The former-feti are adjusting to this craziness of pictures that I'm pretty sure won't end for a long long long time!!

    ReplyDelete
  84. TAMN! U R SOOO inspiring. When are u and loverbuns going to give the baybees some siblings that they can be good examples to? U know the only way they can get to the CK is thru good examples.

U also must update your celestil family stick figures to include those evercute names.

    ReplyDelete
  85. I hope we get to see a birth announcement, like your darling baby shower announcement. *wink*

    ReplyDelete
  86. Sooper, Dooper cute names TAMN! I LUV them! And I'm seriously happy for you. I can't believe you're out jogging! 'Posed to wait for the 6 week check-up ya know. That's when the DTD can give you the go-ahead for exercising and *ahem* other stuff...

    ReplyDelete
  87. So, how much did your snugglepoopsies weigh each? Were they large and healthy, or small and dainty? Or was there one of each? I have to know even more details about the birth so I can compare it to my own birth story and share all of MY details, even though it's really YOUR big day. That's what all moms do, right?

    ReplyDelete
  88. WOW how did I miss all the joy. You are so amazing how you managed to pull all of that off. I think I might just go have another one....Yeah NOT!

    ReplyDelete
  89. someone is actually grateful for afterbirth? Ok that made me laugh!

    ReplyDelete
  90. so glad to hear that you're jogging already!

    ReplyDelete
  91. So, you ate the placentas, right? I know you're into going 'natural,' so I can only assume...

    ReplyDelete
  92. Sounds like your kids names will fit right in when they hit nursery! Thank heavens for unique names!

    ReplyDelete
  93. Those. NAMES. Leave. Me. SPEECHLESS!!!
    Talk about inspration.

    ReplyDelete
  94. Hahaha "TreCole" . . . "Alivyiah" is pretty great too, though I'm still frowny at Lynzii for stealing Taggleigh. I bet Taggleigh and Aliviyiah will create some major drama at Blessed Wasatch Foothills High in their showdown to be the head chearleader in '26!

    ReplyDelete
  95. Tamn!! My son is Bridger!! So Tridger is like they are practically brothers! Congrats, LOVED your birthing story felt the spirit!! You are so great to go running, some girls are extremely lazy and wait until their 6 week checkup, whatever!

    ReplyDelete
  96. Oh, TAMN, the three birth blogs are your best yet! Cringingly spectacular--especially those names! You're brilliant--and super-hot to be jogging so soon after giving birth! My doctor wouldn't even let me drive for five days after my older daughter was born.

    ReplyDelete
  97. Hm. As a new reader of your blog, I have to ask: Are those your babies' real names, or are you making a little joke?

Also, for everyone here: What's with all of the bizarre/infantile spellings? Are those jokes, too, or do the people "here" truly not know how to spell??
