circle of life

YOU GUYS! First off, in my last post i defiantly wasn't COMPLAINING! I was just SAYING! Key diff--say whatever you want as long as you end it w/ JUST SAYIN', kind of like no offence, it neuteralizes it so nobody can get mad, but seriously, I NEVER complain, I'm seriously so blessed, just wanted everyone to know that I COULD complain if I WANTED too since I have EVERY RIGHT to complain, if I was a bummer, which I'm definately not so I seriously would never.

Just sayin'.

Anyways, such a wierd filling that we are finally GRADUATING law/biz/med/dental School almost!! Am kind of freaking out!! Change is so wierd and brings all these mixup feelings! It's like when JJWT came home from the mish and I was exited but kinda missed having a missionary to whine about missing, or when I was all pumped about hair school and then it zipped by and seemed like it was over in like a year, or how I love my twins but also like going to the store without them to see if I get picked up on...LIFE is so CRAZY!! are JJWT and me seriously almost DONE with law/biz/med/dental school when it's like we just started?? Will I honestly not be in a wive's club anymore?? Do we seriously have ONE YEARS OLD KIDS when it fills like we are newlywed's?? THE CIRCLE OF LIFE! I want to stay a student but I also want to judge the students!! Sometimes how mature I've gotten since we've been in school weirds me out.

p.s. just found the CUTEST modest bikini for the graduation luau!!

Just like that song, some rise, some set, you know?

  3. YAY GRADUATION!!!

Can't wait to see what "real life" holds for you!!

    ReplyDelete
  4. Um, TAMN? Hair school WAS only a year. That's probably why it seemed like it.

  5. I hear you can also say whatever you need to about people, if you end it with "bless her heart".

  6. I love to watch the some rise each morning. Just kiddin'. I'm never awake that early.

  7. TAMN,
I found a pic of you in your suit from last year's wives club party. Awesome.

Thanks for setting such a good example for the rest of us. Especially since I was wearing this:

  11. Oh wow - are you really that old??? I mean, CONGRATS!!! Oh PLEASE tell me all about your plans to pay off your loans in just a few years. Can't wait to see all the wonderful things you buy before you've even gotten your first paycheck! I LOVE that part!!!

  12. Prefect. Once your done with school you can wear the mod bikini all summer from sunrise to sunset (dosn't that song just make you cutely cry!!/?I))

  13. I can't believe your entering a new faze of life, but I'm rilly looking forward to how you'll look down on students. Make sure you talk about how hard it must be for them to be digging deeper and deeper into debt and assure them "this fro-yo's on me, I know you can't afford it." Even though you're up to your ears in consumer and student debt. Even if they have funding and are not, in fact, in debt.

If you can't pitty their poverty, make sure you pity how they haven't really started LIFE because they're still in SCHOOL.

I'm dying to know more about your internship/residency/job hunt/junior partnership with Daddy. Please tell me you'll be buying a house now that you know where you're starting out Life. Maybe you should start filtering friendships to only people who have "real jobs" because you don't want to invest in people who can only be your friends for, like, four years.

I'm so happy that at last you can realize the plans you've talked about for conspicuous consumption and really live the American Dream. The time for all your sacrifice is at last at an end!

  14. Oh. . . no . . . you . . didn't. . . just say: "I love my twins but also like going to the store without them to see if I get picked up on."

    ROFLOL!

Mhana: As always, you crack me up too!

  15. Some rise, some set!?
Where do you get this stuff???
    Love it.

  16. I love the juxtaposition of "I'm so much more mature" with "I just found the cutest modest bikini for the graduation luau."

    Effing genius.

    ReplyDelete
  17. awesome! TAMN, you don't have to quit school for ever, you can totes be a mentor now to all of the newbies!

And yeah, leaving kids at home to run errands is the best way to get picked up on, I mean, for realz!

  18. Some rise, some set, one of my favorite songs!

    Your the best!

  19. Oh TAMNERS!! You are just growing up aren't you!?!? Please do one or more of the following immediately:

    - buy a brand new minivan straight off the lot BEFORE you have a job.
    - Spend your "graduation money" on a new TV rather than paying off loans.
    - Talk about how your parents gave you a boat load of graduation money!
    - Have JJWT realize he hates being a lawyer and all things to do with law, then go to your ward and ask them to pay for all your expenses.
    - Talk to everyone you know about how it's so hard to find the best house to buy even though you don't have a job.
    - Oh, and if you could really look down on all the other wives who's husbands are not lawyers, that would be great.

Oh, and are you moving out of Zion?! Shreik?!!?

  20. "neuteralizes"

    I'm speechless.

    ReplyDelete
  21. I, too, thoroughly enjoyed the some rise, some set line, but I really did an audible giggle at the "neuteralizes it" one. My husband and I say that all the time. Wait, you don't ever talk about Pubic Cervix Announcements, do you? What am I talking about? You're way too pure.

    ReplyDelete
  22. I never totally got what that song meant before! Now I've got to ponder if I'm rising or setting. And if I'm halfway is that like a deep squat? If so, I'm all for that cuz my glutes need a good workout. Thanx for the deepness!

  23. We graduated first. But I don't work out. So we're even. :P

    ReplyDelete
  24. Ohhhhhh....TAMN.

    You got me.

    ReplyDelete
  25. Maybe, since JJWT is almost graduated, he can explain to you what the circle of life actually is.

But, then again, he'd probably just pat you on your head and tell you not to worry your cute little brain about it. I don't see JJWT wasting his free time explaining things to you. Especially during finals and the NBA playoffs.

  26. @Sunny Um, I think you confused the sight where TAMN shops (dillards, nordsrom, pacsun) with the one where Ruth does.

    Just sayin'.

    ReplyDelete
  27. "Some rise, some set." ROFL ! Priceless. XOXO, love you.

  28. I Love to nueteralize...it definitely brings out the grey in my pink nail polish!

  29. holy shamwow sunny, those poor uber modest girls! I bet they hate their parents and have micro string bikinis under those things

  30. I've always loved your posts...this one was by far my favorite! You are my satire/mocking hero!!!

  31. All these people talking about loans confuses me.
Like TAMN and JJWT would ever take out LOANS!!!
They're moms and pops paid for everything b/c having debt is against the plan.
    Duh.
Too bad my parents aren't righteous.

    ReplyDelete
  32. @Sunny- that website made me laugh! WOW! Then, I started looking at it more an then realized it might not be as bad as I initially feared. It would be a cute way to wear a dress while hiking, running, or biking, but only if I wore it over some teeny tiny bikini. You would have to wear something under it for support, right? I think TAMNs should wear one for her next triathlon. It would definitely be way more cuter than some of those scary 1 piece tri suits, and they do have a good point about being good for your skin for limiting UV rays. I just can't go to any pool partys with my hubby b/c I am a heathen and refuse to wear a one piece unless I am actually swimming (training for my tris).

  33. Life is going to be just soooo cute now! Let me tell you from one who has been there (frownsmile)

Hubby bunz will only have to work 40 hours. I know, blah, blah, the wives from last year keep going on about 18 hour days and Sundays. But righteous men find a way to pass all those extra hours onto the unrighteous child-free.

Now that you are upper-middle class, you are entitled to leisure and things. Don't worry that more things will require maintenance. If that happens, God is just giving you a trial for a reason.

Remember the point of a SAHM is NOT motherhood or any of those granola-educational activities that Ruth is planning. The point is to let JJWT's salary so shine so all men can see your prosperity (=righteousness.) Stay strong! Even if you really want to read to them, put the twins in front of some educational programing so you can redecorate. And if JJWT looses sight of the prize and exercises unrighteous dominion saying, "We can't afford it," thow dishes. You'll need to keep them stylish and buy new ones every year anyways.

    ReplyDelete
  34. No really, the blog - its kinda funny at first but you DO make us look like jackasses . . . all of 'us'

    ReplyDelete
  35. Don't worry, TAMN. Even though you and JJWT are graduating the "some" you keep in your modest bikini will never set.

    ReplyDelete
  36. TAMN--you MUST be getting older. I was in the Provo Towne Center with a BABY in my arms and I TOTALLY got checked out by 2 hottie high school guys! (they looked at least 18)
Do you really have to leave the twinsies at home to get ooggled?
    Sad.

  37. some rise, some set....hilarious!

  38. I think I just fell in love with Frau. Wow. And Renny - your innocence is SO CUTE! When Mommy and Daddy are paying for school then you take out loans to pay for vacays/mani-pedis/home decor/cute clothes/jewelry/etc. Oh wait, I think I got that wrong. Because THAT would be unrighteous. No, what you're supposed to do is take out loans for your tuition so all of Mommy and Daddy's money can go to the aforementioned goodies! Totally different - and totally righteous!

I seriously wish I was kidding but so many of my friends did this in school. The worst part is that I could never tag along on the vaycays because I had to WORK so that I could do boring things like buy food to EAT! UGH! Why couldn't my parents have just been righteouser?!?!?

  39. Make sure that you move after you congraduate. Nothin' is sadder than stayin inna "student" ward. Even if it is a "real" ward with families an stuff. It just means that they didn't move on. Since you are so mature (but not creepy and old) you should set them an example and move on.

    ReplyDelete
  40. It weirds me out to think how mature you've gotten since we've been in high school too.

    ReplyDelete
  41. I hate to be the barer of bad news, but your going to lose your WIC/ Food stamps. Now that you have income you need to pay for your own groceries, pay tithing, and student loans. You may need to buy gently used anthro and ebay for a while wich is totally frown smile, but yay on graduation! You need to go on a cruise then borrow some money from your parents for a down payment on a new adorbs house!

    ReplyDelete
  42. @Cami D.--that's because you all are, really and truly, jackasses.

    ReplyDelete
  43. Sorry, there IS no such thing as a modest bikini. Just sayin'

  44. "some rise, some set"...the fiddler would be proud.
