BOTH OF YOU??? Somebody call Oprah! Another pregnant man?!? It's a miracle!

Mar said...

I weep for the future.

Melissa said...

Wait... 280 days? So, um, you got pregnant, like, this morning?

Anonymous said...

This is the coolest blog EVER.

Kristina P. said...

Wow, my 4th of July prayers worked! Wouldn't that be just the most amazing thing ever if you were pregnant with adorable little twins?

Oh, and LOVE the green jello announcement. I wish I had thought of that to announce my fake pregnancy.

Anonymous said...

Congratulations! But aren't you going to add some [un]necessary details like how quickly you got pregnant-- I mean, the first time you even "tried." And how you feel seriously so blessed that you didn't have to do all those terrible fertility treatments like your [former] best friend.

Because it's a blessing to be so fertile-- because that's part of the plan. Like just getting pregnant when you just look at each other-- or, even better, when you wash your [underwear] together. People who have had fertility issues love reading about people who are so blessed that they haven't.

I know that finding a creative and classy way to announce these types of things can be exhausting. It is almost as stressful as when you were asking someone to prom, last year. Anyway, I just wanted to compliment your selection of media. Green jello+canned pineaple chunks+reddi-whip=sublime.

Anonymous said...

I second Heather when I say that I'm so glad both of you are pregnant. Let's think of baby names!!!!

Anonymous said...

HAHAHAHAHA!!!!!! ... HAHAHAHAHA!!!!!! That is great. Just awesome. Congrats... I can't wait to hear all the seriously, so blessed events of your pregnancy! :D

hosander said...

So you announced it to JJWT by writing on Jello with whip cream? That's classy.

Anonymous said...

You know the baby can hear when you "do it" right? CUTE!

Justin & Kamie said...

Seriously? Congrats times infinity plus one. You are totally going to be the cutest pregnant lady EVAR!!

I can't believe you announced it on jello. That is seriously like the cutest thing in the whole wide world. We just announced our baby is a boy, but did it on brownies...not nearly as awesome or cool as your idea. NO FAIR! LOL.

Maybe if you have a girl we can totally have our babies get married one day in the temple. HOW FUN WOULD THAT BE??

Shauna said...

Hooray! I'm pregnant too. If our babies are the same gender, they'll totally be BFF!!! And if they're the opposite, they'll get married!!!!!

Randy Speed said...

LOVE, love, love your babystrology.com widget.

Kristina P. said...

Oh my goodness. I didn't even see the creepy baby fetus widget. I actually dedicated a blog post to the creepiness of them.

But your little fetus is the cutest thing ever, of course. You obviously made it with a lot of love, and it shows.

aubreyp said...

Ha ha! The green jello rocks. Seriously! Bring on the baby names!

hosander said...

I think you should blog about how great you are at missionary work, because you were basically ON JJWT's mission and you are 'super excited' to meet some of the families from his mission.

Jules AF said...

I second the opinion that you should blog with some of the details... Like how my stake president once told us about the night his wife conceived their last child. Yeah. It was as awkward as it sounds.

Complication said...

I love reading about how seriously so blessed you are! I bet that you are so seriously blessed that you will love, love, love every second of your pregnancy and not get sick at all. Those women that are sick a lot just aren't as blessed as you - sad but true.

My only wish is that you would post a picture of the positive pregnancy test. I just love looking at pictures of things that have been peed on.

Kate @ Our Best Bites said...

Awesome.

Now...PLEASE tell me that it was God's will because you were using birth control. And THEN tell me later on in the conversation that your birth control was either the pill that you'd forgotten to take for four days OR natural family planning because that's what your parents (of 12 children) used for birth control.

Anonymous said...

wow! you really ARE so blessed! and like way righteous to receive such blessings! unlike those who can't get pregnant, sad.

SRA said...

Oh...my...heck! The blessings just continue to flow into your uber-righteous lives, don't they though??

Anonymous said...

That's classy of you to wait a whole couple of hours before telling people. Most people would just hold it in and wouldn't tell people, but now we can all revel in you're blessedness together for the entire 9 months.

Andrew said...

When did you know you were pregnant? Did you feel yourself conceive? Did you feel the baby's spirit enter the fertilized cell?

I'm so excited for you guys. JJWT will make such a great dad, and you'll be a total MILF.

Anonymous said...

Does the Jello Salad have folate's? You gotta get on those. Apparently they help you not have a deformed baby that looks like a boy but has girly parts.

But of course you could probably get away with skipping the pre-nates 'cause God would never curse you guys with a baby with problems or anything. You guys are way to righteous for that.

Anonymous said...

love the green jello! May I suggest baby names?... let's see..

Utah
Zion
Republix

I guess Freedym and Lybertee were o.k.

WonderKitty said...

You are so blessed to get prego only days before your 1st aniversary! Cause you know, its like totally last year to wait a year and a half like most Mormon couples. You and hubby must be totally rightous for that to happen.

Anonymous said...

seriously, so lucky!
i heart babies. you are going to be the best mom.

Mother of the Wild Boys said...

Congrats on the fetus...but am I the only one that thought the pineapple chunks were actually the result of you blowing chunks? "Wow, my first morning sickness...CUTE!"

Anonymous said...

Hahaha, awesome!! I can't wait to hear every super cute detail of every super wonderful month of your pregnancy!

Anonymous said...

It just keeps getting better for you. SO BLESSED!!!!

Ashley said...

I love pregnancy!!!

momof5foxes said...

AWWWWWWWWWWWRIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIGHT!!! This blog just keeps getting better and better!! I love it!! Keep it coming! And Shauna, wouldn't that be soooooooo totally awesome if these two fetuses hooked up down the road? I would totally give them my blog name...

Anonymous said...

Were you wearing your garments when you conceived Madysn/Kaylee or Brendyn/Joshuah? If so, you will have a super-righteous baby who could become prophet! Or a housewife!

Anonymous said...

Is this blog kinda like the soap operas? Like, where tomorrow your fetus will be a toddler, then next week it will be a troubled teen sleeping with your hubby's uncle, then turns out...the fetus is actually rosemary's baby reincarnate?

Hizzeather said...

Ewwww to the person above me!

I want to know how a fake blog gets more readers and comments than mine does! Sucks to be me. I guess I'm just not spiritual enough.

Carina said...

Did you put the pregnancy test into the jello?

Fig said...

Can't wait to hear the darling names you make up yourself.

Anonymous said...

Azucar, you win.

(Even my 8yo laughed out loud - after I explained your comment.)

Nemesis said...

Squeeee!!! to both of you. You should really try to concentrate rill hard that you'll have twins. Twins are so hot right now.

Unknown said...

I can't wait for belly pictures!

Anonymous said...

Best. Post. Ever.

awalk002 said...

*Sigh* A good percentage of the people that comment on your blog are the exact people that you are mocking.

Anonymous said...

I know everyone is hoping for twins, but I think TRIPLETS would be so much more fun!

When you make up all these names your kids, PLEASE, PLEASE have all their names start with the same letter. And rhyme.
Because that is SO cute!!!!

And I'm sure that you won't have any stretch marks, and you will be able to wear your skinny jeans home from the hospital.

Or, you could have a home birth, and invite all the YW to come watch.

Katy said...

still laughing...
Congrats!

Katie said...

Green jello...klassy.

Hey maybe that can be your baby's name. He/She (they?!?! please be a they) could be a real Klass act!!!!!

Okay, I'm not funny

Also, love the title of the creepy fetus thing "JJWT and Me's baby." It's PERFECT!!!!! Don't let any english Magers tell you diffurent.

Chelsea said...

it's about time! i was starting to really worry about your salvation and stuff.

Katy said...

Phew, I'm glad you're pregnant...I'll call the relief society to let them know that you aren't infertile. A year is a LONG time to go without being preggers.

Reggs said...

When you say "we're pregnant" does that mean you and JJWT or you and the green jello?
If its JJWT I bet it totally happened that night in Pal when you guys were reading scriptures and things got out of hand while re-enacting the Gideon/Nehor battle experience.

Shellie said...

K-so like that is so Utah with the green jello and all. Hope you can eat it without barfing it all up. This is a great little site to make me giggle-thanks!

Merica will be in good hands!

Hey, I announced my first pregnancy the same way cept I used kachup on funeral potatoes.

Congrats!

mushbelly said...

I think this is my favorite post yet. Perfect. I almost spit out my coffee when I opened the blog yesterday and saw this.

mushbelly said...

Oh yea, and I can't WAIT to hear what names you come up with. I'm sure they will be beautiful and unique! You better come up with a name ASAP. The clock is ticking!

Lauren Perry said...

CONGRATS! I thought you had to wait about 2 weeks to find out after conception- but you must be SUPER blessed! Here is a special reminder when naming baby names. You could take any normal name and add an "on" or "en" to make it your own. You could also pick names from the scriptures. It will make your child more blessed as he/she grows up. I look forward to hearing about your amazing pregnancy and your 1 push delivery :) Remember to stay away from epidurals and c-sections- the pioneers didn't have those when they delivered along the trail.

this is like totally awesome!!!

Whitney R said...

It's 266 days of a pregnancy. But now, will you be frumpy?

Anonymous said...

You should totally start wearing maternity clothes now, even though you aren't showing yet! That way, you can get even more attention!! I too, can't wait for the creepy bare belly photos. Wait, yes I can.

How long have you been married because if it is more than 6 months you waited to long!
