You probably have a good heart too. And as you are probably a very caring person who cares for the travails of others, please support the Young Iranians as they struggle to get their vote back.

OMG. Seriously. I get made fun of for this very thing. I have an ENOURMOUS clock in my kitchen and my husband thinks I am nuts.

You probably have them all over your livingroom decoupaged with pictures of the twinsies, right? Because of course one is NOT enough!!!

I think we should talk about Wes on the bachelorette and how I hope those mo-matchelors are NOT like him... and the awkward previews they showed for the coming weeks!

How many do you have TAMN???

Unknown said...

I'm just so confused by this... maybe its because I live in college apartments where decorating with giant clocks isn't an option... I just can't see where you're coming from with this TAMN.

Jules AF said...

I don't get it. I'm glad I don't.

Cristin said...

I'm sure you heart vinyl lettering too.

What if I heart ginormous clocks and my angel babe doesn't? Does that mean he must sleep in the garage so he doesn't see it? (Of course I have to have one...)

Michelle said...

so you're hinting that our best frownsmile would look even better if we were posing in front of our own ginormous clock in our frilly 1950s apron? sweet.

Unknown said...

SO not surprised! Does your huge clocks have little clocks around it? We need pictures of your top ten clocks!

but have you made your own out of cute vinyl letters on the wall with a clockwork/hands in the middle. so cute, not at all tacky. I'm sure the mish pres would love to come home and see one gracing the entryway of their 12000 sqft home

And oh my heck I LURV your banner! It's like a jog/walk down memory lane!

P.S. - Can you even read an analog clock? That's seriously hard stuff. Try teaching that to the twinsies!

I have one in each room. :)

For the record, I liked big clocks before big clocks were cool.

(I know, whats the point, right?)

me too, TAMN! Wow, we're like spiritual sisters!

especially the vinyl ones

dharvey said...

Oh, yay !!! Ginormous clocks with hugs roman numerils on the face of the clock. You need one for every room in your 12,000 sq. ft. house. 'Cept those clocks have been the fad four about the past 5 years, so their prolly going out of style next month. Time for a new home accessory fad. -- D.

Phrankely Tamners,

I would be afraid if you didn't.

{frownsmiles all around!}

Cindy Jensen said...

OMG, me too! I think we are the same person.

J-Dub said...

So does Flava Flave! You guys have something in common. Do you rock an iced out grill TAMN?

Jamie said...

Be honest . . .you have a metal star attatched to the outside of your house right?

b. said...

TAMN, seriously...thank you for putting The Clime on your playlist. I think the church should incooperate it into the YW theem. Or at least make it one of the personal progress rechoirments to learn it.

Also, somebody gave me'n Hoss a tree trunk with our wedding anouncement shullacked into it and a clock bilt into it. It's awesome.

Murdock Family said...

I want to get a big clock for my living room!!! Maybe someday!!!

Jo Holland said...

Jamie just made me laugh so hard. Those are quite the phenomenon in Utah. almost 1/4 of the houses I pass have those metal stars on the front of their house.
I think it would be very out-of-the-loop of you not to have one.

Careful now, the queen of Mormon Blogdom, cJane, has a ginormous clock in her livingroom... saw it in a picture on her blog.

Little Lovables said...

esp, with vinyl lettering that surrounds the clock in a circular fashion about how time is so precious or something

Kerry said...

HAHAHAHA!

You know, for some reason, I just KNEW you would love those. Your predictability is so adorable.

stillclueless said...

I don't get it. Ha ha???

Trent!? said...

I KNEW IT!

Cheri said...

granny: maybe even cjane has some TAMN in her. Happens to the best of us.

Enormous clocks blow my mind.

Rach said...

LOL.

Right on, girlfriend.

Carina said...

I hope it's the one that you tell people is "antiked" because it's brown and crackly. Those are THE BEST.

Token Asian Friend said...

The one in my living room was crammed next to our family portrait, so I had to take it down (and by "it" I mean the family picture, of course).

(i know you're heartbroken-thats ok, it happens to most people i interact with)

Matt and Jennae Porter said...

Not as much as I do, TAMN, not as much as I do. :)

I Heart Ginormous clocks too...in fact, I MAKE THEM and I can teach YOU HOW TO MAKE THEM!!!!!!!! And you can too...you should totally host a party and get yours for free....we like it when our hostess has some refreshments but I will put that rule aside for your super hot skinny body...we could all suck on lemons instead! Yay!!!

I would like to reply to Sister Madsen's remark about upcoming Bachelorette --- was it just me or were they hinting one of the guys will get "stage fright" at the fantasy suite? Because I think it is just a divine message that they should be waiting for marriage anyway. I am so so so glad that we live in a day and age when all of America can know about the naughty bits of total strangers.

Allison said...

TAMN I love how you're always one step ahead of the rest of us, first the black and white damask, now giant clocks. You definitely let your little light shine, thanks so much for being so original/you all the time!

Nanci said...

So, you like Flava Flav???
