it makes me sad when you say i'm depressed

Thanx everyone for saying I'm seriously so skinny.

I know I'm cuter than every other preggo ever (not to brag) but, for me, it's hard to look medium cute when I'm use to looking oober cute, ya know?
I fill yuckers so all your "I've never seen a more darling baby bump" comments mean the whole world to me and help remind me how much uglier everyone else is so thanx.

Not to be a downer but this IS my journal so, ugh. The feti STILL haven't exited yet and I fill seriously like an elephant. I've been having a jillion bebe showers and each one is awesomer than the last and the nursries are the best and I'm seriously just ready and want the feti here now so I can dress them up and have more personal props for my new self-taught camra skills {SO pumped to build my photog portfolio}, but AngelNugget keeps saying he's the head of our home so I can't pop 'em out til after March Madness.

Blah.

  1. There are somethings more important than (admittedly cute) baby bumps. Like basketball.

  2. Aw, TAMN! I hope he changes his mind! P.S. You ARE still Ubercute. Like you could ever be something else! Whatevvv!

  3. So mean! Sorry you half to ndure that. Since when are sports more important than feti!?

  4. Thankfully JJWT doesn't have much of a say when they come out. Unless he wants to *snuggle* in which case it can help you have them a bit earlier...! (Don't tell him though...!!) Just make sure to drink some caster oil, get your girlie parts "stripped" (not in a fun way - but WAY painful by the DTD). You can totally have them whenever you want if you do all that.

  5. Tell JJWT that he is right, you should wait until after March Madness. Thank him for being the head of ur home by lots of nuzzling!! That will get the feti here in no time, and you can be like "Sorry AngelNugget, I was on your side but I guess the babies have a mind of their own!"

  6. Well, you ARE supposed to hearken and stuff, but srsly, he should be paying tension to you and not b-ball. So not living the plan there.

  7. HF made pregnancy long so women will do ANYTHING to get them out. No worries...your time is coming, and it will be GLORYUS! I've yet to hear of an never-ending pregnancy. Not just yet. One day soon you'll hold your darling feti in your skinny arms and life will have meaning once again. Your new-found skill of taking pitchers of yourself while holding babies at the same time will be more preshus than life itself.

  8. TAMN - that is seriously so sad that JJWT wants to wait to meet your darling feti. Try leaving subtle glittery cards reminding him or how happy he'll be once they come!

  9. OMG am I the first to comment! No way! LUV your blog, love you, I love everything about you, and I want to be just like you!

  10. Who said you were depressed? You're so not!

  11. When my wife was pregnant, the doctor told us that if the babies didn't come by 38 weeks, they would induce labor. So you've only got 17 days to go, girl!

  12. SUCH a bummer. Go have a mani/pedi and a DC, you'll feel TONS better!

  13. Tamn. I feel your pain. My life revolves around sports! Date nights, family trips, even church! Maybe we should write a letter to Prez. Monson and see what he can do about this at conference?????

  14. *snort*

It would serve him right if they made their exit during the finals.

He may be the head of your home, but you call all the shots, right?

    (Yes, it's a basketball pun.)

  15. ZOMGosh! You has photo skillz?! Are you going to start a photo-blog of your bebe's and post pictures of them nekkid--but adorable--on the Internets?!? because that's not creepy/wrong at all.

    xox

  16. I'm the head of our home I made sure my wife had our baby before the end of the year so that we could claim her on our taxes. They're like mini little tax shelters, kids.

    ReplyDelete
  17. LOL! After March Madness, of COURSE!

    ReplyDelete
  18. Ugh! How dare he put basketball before your feti!

    ReplyDelete
  19. Pfft, tell him that since the Jayhawks are out of the tourney, basketball doesn't even matter anymore.

    I'm not bitter.

  20. How darling that DH wants you to enjoy March Madness uninterrupted. LOL I am so anticipateing the oh so cute pictures of your twins. I have twin Gdaughters who I adore.
You are truely a very skinny vessal for two new souls. Be happy and at peace they will make thier entrance at the best time to disrupt yours and DH's life. Probably during his fav, teams game.
Peace and love to you all. Angel C. in TX

  21. Let him have this last "all about me" time cause once the bebe's come it will be all about you for the rest of his LIFE. (use it against him but I didn't say that)

    ReplyDelete
  22. OH PULL EEEAZE. As if he can't enjoy MM with 2 teentsy tiny cuddly lumps in is lap while you slip back into your skinny jean.

    ReplyDelete
  23. Gosh, "medium cute"? I am so sorry! I can't even imagine!

    ReplyDelete
  24. awwww, tamn, you should do something for lyndzi. when we're helping, we're happy!

    ReplyDelete
  25. Sometimes our men just don't understand, do they? Put your feet up and have a diet coke- you deserve it, and maybe it'll make the twinners get so excited that they just pop right out!

    ReplyDelete
  26. Sounds to me like AngelNugget likes your baby bump just a smidge too much! Bummer!

    ReplyDelete
  27. TAMN, just schedul a ceasar salad section between bball games. That way JJWT doesnt have to miss March Madness and you dont have to go thru labor!! Plus I hear they can make it so you dont have a scar so you'll be back to wearing your hot 'n' modest bikinis in no time!

    ReplyDelete
  28. My comment isn't showing up. Did I say something wrong? (sniff)

    ReplyDelete
  29. Speaking of the nurseries - why haven't you posted pics yet? I am sure they are super cute and all Pottery Barn-ish!

    ReplyDelete
  30. A big fat raspberry to JJWT! You just pop those darlin' feti out when ever you darn well feel like it! What? Did he not attend the hospital tour???? Every room has cable! And 'specially since ur havin a cesar salad selection - he won't have to miss any action! Geesh! For a man who gets straight A's, I can't believe he didn't figure that one out!

  31. How weird, this post has been up for 3 hours and no one has commented???

    ReplyDelete
  32. no way that I am first?

Seriously... your hubs should be compashinite. March Madness is having to be preggo with two feti... and getting xtra stretch marks for holding them in longer.

    ReplyDelete
  33. March Madness? BOAR-ING.

  34. I am so super glad that patriarchal hegemony is a thing of the past, ya know? I mean NO WAY our women subjugated by there uteri 'cause of women's lib and suffragettes and wonderbras instead of corsets fixed all that. It is super refreshing that as the leader of your home JJWT just really gives you your wings and watches ya fly. I mean, how much reign could you rilly give to your creativity in adorable birthday parties to come if you were forced into a basketball theme for little Hinckley/Payton/Brandeis/Throckton? Cheers to JJWT for being so wise and considerate!

    ReplyDelete
  35. You and JJWT are SO meant for each other!

    ReplyDelete
  36. Wow, I'm surprised JJWT doesn't want to spend some bonding time with his son watching that March Madness stuff! You should tell him it would be the best Father/Son Bonding Experience! You need to have the twins before it starts next week, don't you think?! Then you and your princess can make cute March Treats togehter while they watch the madness stuff!

    ReplyDelete
  37. better listen to the head of your home. he probs had some personal revelashun about when the feti will exit.

    ReplyDelete
  38. I vote for St. Paddy's day -- then, if your baby girl is as lucky as mine was 5 years ago, they'll stick a green bow on her head at the hospital. And you can dress the babies as leprechauns.

(P.S. Yay, now I can comment again now that you switched back to the separate comment window!)

    ReplyDelete
  39. Get used to March Madness taking precedent over everything else in your life. Good thing you have a she fetus/baby so you two can go get pedis, Cheesecake, and shop at the new Nordstrom while "the boys" glaze over watching constant b-ball. P.S. Did you know "nuzzling" gives the feti a kick start?

    ReplyDelete
  40. just make sure that your little girl has bows that are BIG. Everyone will know she's from Zion if she's got one!

    ReplyDelete
  41. Have you tried cod liver oil? Or nuzzling?

    ReplyDelete
  42. Tamn, not to take the attention away from your seriously cute self, but your comment section has problems, it keeps looking like there's no comments, and i know your so popular that's impossible, but it keeps getting the hopes up of all of us who think we're going to be first when there's really already a bajillion comments...or maybe you designed it to be this way to brighten up our days and let more of us feel a little closer to you! You are the best e-bff evva!

    ReplyDelete
  43. omgosh!!! i can't believe i'm the first to comment!! blah is right, MY angelnugget left to go to march madness right after i had my boy/girl feti. and they where both sick!! it sucked. he's leaving again this year, but the cuties are one year older so it's not too bad. i feel your pain!

    ReplyDelete
  44. If JJWT was a good hubs he'd WANT you to pop em out to WATCH march madness WITH HIM!

    ReplyDelete
  45. Remember what they say on "My Big Fat Greek Wedding? You're the elegant skinny neck that turns that head whatever way you want! You can't have the babies after March Madness because JJWT might pay more attention to the game instead of meeting your darling prego needs!

    ReplyDelete
  46. Doesn't JJWT know that all the guy does in labor and delivery is watch sports? He could just invite his closest guy buddies, that way you are not too overwhelmed!

    ReplyDelete
  47. I hope you are totally planning on having those little mini-me's of you and love nugget the "right" way. If you have them Sea-section it isn't even really like your a real woman. YOu have to have them Vaginally and with totally no drugs. That way you can show all your devoted followers that you are really worthy of their love and support.

    ReplyDelete
  48. I think you should time it purfeckly so you have those angelbabies DURING the B-ball final game. that would be so romantic and sentimental.

i am getting really excited to see your twinz everyday on your blog. please cover them with bows that are five times the size of their head...

    ReplyDelete
  49. Ha.. we watched March Madness on our wedding night! Good Memories.

    ReplyDelete
  50. He may be the head of the home, but remember YOU are the neck that turns the head!

    ReplyDelete
  51. I know it's hard, but I mean he does have a point. It isn't called MARCH MADNESS for nothing.

    ReplyDelete
  52. TAMN, you and many of your E-BFF's are looking at this all wrong. This isn't about JJWT's enjoyment of sports. It's so that the Feti can truly celebrate their birthday each year, without having to worry about friends and family not making it to their annual Eggstravaganza birthday party because the "Y" might be playing that year.

It truly is inspired that your Hubby is thinking of the happiness of the feti. He doesn't want them to disappointed when someone fails to attend THEIR party because of some silly basketball game. Even if it is because the "Y" is playing for the National Championship.

And Heaven forbid your boy feti from not being able to attend his own Birthday Bash when he leads the Cougs to the National Championship four years in a row.

    ReplyDelete
  53. I think your AngelBabe will love them even more if they're born during March Madness. He'll have even more to love in the month of March, and he'll forever thank you for not listening to him and waiting. :)

    ReplyDelete
  54. March 28th. Birthday of Spencer W. Kimball, Harold B. Lee, and yours truly. Go for it.

    ReplyDelete
  55. Your AngelBabe maybe the head of the home but the feti are not popping out of him, are they? I say it is easier to ask forgiveness than permission especially if you are cute, so pop and deliver whenever you want.

    ReplyDelete
  56. You don't want a March baby anyway. Go for a pretty birthstone for your Mother's jewelry. Have the doctor schedule your induction for 4/6.Your feti desere a special bday.

    ReplyDelete
  57. Seriously, I don't even know why you felt bad in the first place. I gained a whole 10 poundz when I was preggerz and that was only with ONE baby (who turned out to be only like the most precious looking baby that ever was, according to everyone who ever sees him, but you know, I'm sure yours will be good, too.) My son has won like 5 most beautiful baby contests since he was born, and luckily you're having TWO little precious ones so your odds of matching his record just from this pregnancy are pretty good! My other friends are all going to be lucky if they win five by the time they've done the preggerz thing like 6 times. But you seem more conscious of the importance of making sure everyone knows your baby is the preshesest baby ever. Also because the Lord rewards the righteous, too. So that should cheer you up.

    ReplyDelete
  58. ok TAMN, it's really time for me to win something just like it's time for you to have those feti before you get a gross strech mark (shudder) there, i said it!
