Hooray for Date Night!!

I am so addicted to summer! Friday night, Hubby and I started off the weekend with a super fun date night at...the Gateway! It's hard for me to go there sometimes because I have an on-
again, off-again relationship with shopping depending on if I feel like a fattie, but Friday I felt super hot so it was ok for us to go there and by the way, parking there is IN-SANE! Has anyone else noticed that!? We drove our little Civic/Corolla around for seriously like five hours you guys, before we finally saw a Suburban/Hummer pulling out of a spot! TOTAL tender mercy. So, after we were blessed to find a parking spot, we had a cozy dinner at CPK (LOVE it...so dang good!) and split a yummy BBQ chicken pizza (totally crave it), big salad and MONSTER raspberry lemonade. We really like to split things so that we can sit on the same side of the booth and feed each other from each other's plates and everyone can covet me and see how JJWT has broughten sexy back. I literally LOVE my life!!
Then we walked over to the fountain where we found the brick that Jordan/Jason/Wes/Taylor bought for me before he left on his mission. (Anyone want to guess what it says?? I'm not telling . . .) That brick brings back literally a bazillion memories--LITERALLY--of the two years he was away! Whenever I started to miss him too much I would go sit by it, gaze into the dancing waters of the fountain and find the inspiration to write him, even when it was impossible to live because I felt like half myself had literally been amputated. So hard! But we made it through – even though I got engaged twice during the time he was away – I just KNEW that Jordan/Jason/Wes/Taylor was the one I was meant to be with! And now we are more in love and have more fun than anyone else, so thank you for making each and every minute of each and every day the best possible minute and/or day for me!

Anyway, the Gateway fountain was full of WAY cute naked babies running through it and it made me so dang baby hungry, LITERALLY!!! It was impossible for me to handle the baby hunger! All the moms looked like they were having so much fun in their capris and flip flops chasing after their babies! (Not sure where their husbands were, prolly working late again? . . .My dad worked late a lot too . . .Daddies work soooo hard for their families!) But then the lame-jerk security guards asked all the cute moms to either put swim diapers on their kids or get out of the fountain because of some bacteria thingy from going #2 called Crypto-saurus or something like that. Sad!! Rude!! Mean!! Those naked babies were so stinkin' cute! That security guard was such a party pooper. No pun intended! LOL!

Then we went to a special screening of "The Notebook" at the Gateway movie theaters. Jordan/Jason/Wes/Taylor is such a stallion to go see that again with me. I remember when it was first released we went and saw it THREE TIMES! I still cry every time! I just ball. BALL. (But even when I ball like a baby--ooh, baby hungry--I am still so dang happy, happier than anyone can fathom. Don't get the wrong idea and start thinking that when I have meltdowns it might mean something is wrong because I have non-stop fun without any exceptions, ever, so never doubt that my fun level is literally through the roof.)

THEN, on the way home we met up with our friends at Maggie Moo's/Coldstone for a yummy-yum treat! As always, we shared a thing of cake batter mixed with Oreo pieces and then fed it to each other with tons of love – we are SOOOOO predictable! Love it! I wouldn't change anything about our life, not one tiny thing because I am as happy as possible and even just writing about this is making me grin my head off you guys because life is just so dang good my eyes almost pop out of my head when I emphasize my life's goodness and the fun never, EVER stops, even though you would prolly change like forty things about your life because not to be rude or anything, I just can't help it that I am...

seriously, so blessed.

I just don't get why some girls think they want a career, when they could just quit school and be a great wife and mom. Like, my mom goes shopping with me, and out to lunch, and to the pool to tan, and I have the greatest relationship with her. Who would want to get up and go to work everyday at a job where you don't even get summers off?

CPK is my FAVORITE of all the restaurants I've ever eaten in. They are seriously so awesome. I love that I can get a salad (because I'm tyring to loss a little) on my pizza! They are seriously YUMMERS!

I totally know what you mean about CPK, I just love restaurants that start with "C" in general; like Chili's, Cheescake Factory, P.F. Changs, even though Changs is the last name, you get it. Totally YUM. Oh yeah, and I love the free bread.

Gotta go, I've got a hair appointment at Von Curtis!!! I love my extensions and fake eye lashes!!! Seriously, you've gotta try them. You'll never go back.

Frickin cute movie! Seriously, the first time I saw it, I think I was running at about 8 tps (tears per second, lol). Total tearjerker! Seriously, it was like they hired a buff usher (eww, like when are ushers buff?) to literally jerk tears from my eyes! Best movie ever! Some people are way into Harold & Maude, but eww she's so old! Boddles the mind.

Oh, and I'm surprised at the lack of Tim McGraw (<3 TIM!) on that golden playlist.

Love it. I only wish you had said "platform flip-flips and capris" while describing the moms at the Gateway mall. Seriously, hilarious.

I seriously SOOOO LOVE that we both love CPK! I think I am in love with everything that comes from, looks like or smells like California. Even if Cali is just in the title I will spend oodles of money on it!

Off to Hollister! C-ya!!!!!!
