happy holladays

BEST.

WEEKEND.

EVER.

Look how much service I did!

Aren't holidays the best? We went shoping for our AngelSub4SantaTree family. Don't really want anyone to know just how selfless I am so I wouldn't of even said anything on here except my mom wanted to know so I have to put it here to tell her. Helping out paupers rocks! The poor needy 9yo girl wanted a bike so I got her the VERY nicest stationary one I could find and the whole first season of Gossip Girl to watch while she rides it. LOVE that the beggarly are into fitness!

No offense but the ward Christmas party started out so SO so lame. They did a live naytivity which is happy and fun...for about 2 seconds. Then it's brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr and boring and I'd seriously way rather watch Grampa Krugy's Christmas while I tie corners of a fleece blankie, especially when outside is FREEZING with some grumpty frump playing Mary. She looked so bummed the whole time! Hello, babies rule lady! Luckily for all of us, I anticipated the yawn so yanked some tinsel out of my ginorm purse and scattered it all over the ugly shepherds and brought a sassy applikayed onesie for baby Jesus. And thanx to your guyses urgings, I'd broughten the karaoky machine so just had Angelnugget bring it in from the Escalade. Set up right next to the cresh and belted Celine's O Holy Nite like I was performing in Vegas! Everyone (meaning JJWT) said I sounded like an angel. AND when the stake YWs pres came by I sang extra soft and spiritual to help her feel the prompteen about who should do the stamp demonstration for New Beginnings. Honestly, probably I'll be on bedrest by then but would whole-heartily make an exception.

Church was neat too (aren't holidays the best??) and the bish was so happy slash suprised slash greatful when he realized I'd snuck a label on each program saying the MiaMaids and me would be doing a SPECIAL special musical number!! My heart was SO so full as I heard my nails clicky clack through the chapel as my tiny fingers danced up on the keys. They all played the hand bells while I sang Breath of Heaven and accompanied myself on the piano.

Service is the best.

You are such an inspiration, TAMN. I'm glad to hear you have an Escalade - I was wondering if you were going to have to get a mini-van for the twinners (gasp)..

Snuck a label on each program?? TAMN, you're brilliant! I bet you used one of your way cute scrapbooking tools to make the labels, too so the church program didn't look so seriously boring and blek. I'm so lucky to have a friend like you that isn't afraid to "let her light shine" by letting your talents shine (or your glossy lips and French manicured nails under the spotlight I'm sure you had pointed at the rostrum -- that's the stand part the bishop sits on). Merry Christmas!!!

Way to be TAMN!

I thought about earning some boy scout points this weekend, but it was too cold and snowy out. So instead, I just sat wrapped in a warm blanket and watched from the window as my neighbor shoveled all the driveways on the block.

I took time to think about service as I watched, and I feel my contribution is making the world a better place.

I bet Mary would have been less of a bummer had you offered your tight-and-sassy fur-trimmed coat and ginorm fuzzy boots... Or, maybe she was bummed because you did offer them, but she didn't fit.

I heart the fingernail clickety-clack while the Piano is playing! And anything is better than that stinky old organ!

Am I the only one who can't read what the heck she's talking about?

A-MAZE-IN! You just gave me a reason to be happy about Christmas! ITs off to find me a kareokee machine!

Does your ward realize how seriously blessed they are to have you? I think that you need to get up during testimony meeting in January and remind everyone what a blessing you are to them. I know that'll be kind of hard for you because you don't like to brag. You've got to realize that it is going to help everyone so much though. After your testimony they'll all be more grateful (to have you in their ward)and humble (becuase they will see your exapmle and realize how far they still have to go) like you. Why was I not blessed to be in your ward?!

I had somehow missed out on the experience of hearing Breath of Heaven until yesterday at the ward Christmas program, and all I can say is that I am NOT SURPRISED that our own darling TAMNers sang it yesterday too.

I hope you did your Christian-emo-rock impression, so people weren't sure if they were in a teeny-bopper high school prom movie or at church.

I'm sure the bish was super thrilled. hilarious

Yeah, why does every Nativity Mary have to act like she has severe post-partum depression?!? Lighten up, baby Jesus mamas!

(Would posting this comment anonymously have helped divert the lightning which is about to strike me?)

I'm a little disappointed that you sang an Amy Grant song instead of going with a more chosen song by someone like Mike McLean. :(

Happy holla-days to you, TAMN!

All I can say, and I know it's not a lamo testimony meeting but my year certainly wouldn't have been as blessed without your zample to lite the way. There is only 1 question burning in my heart/mind...Which feti gets to play baby Jesus at next year's Nativity? The boy might be the obvious choice bt what about the darling little princess? What's her roll going to be ?
I uplawd your generousness to the suby girl...i know my kids want/need IPOD touch (s) but sinse its more than I can afford they'll get the mp3 players on sale for $10 at Rite-AID. yes...giving is better than receiving!

Breath of heaven is the best song!

My new year's resolution is to move into your ward boundries, and being that I am super frumpy & childless, you could be my VT...that way there would be some hope for me. Otherwise, I am afraid all is lost ;o(
