dRaMa DrAmA dRaMa

Ugggggh!

Since we're moving now, even though I'm not cheezy I wanted to blog a darling tribute post to all my girls here in DC who have seriously been like family to me! I love love love them so much I can't stand it! This summer has been the hardest ever! Not having a calling! And the humidity! And no craft room! And always running into hobos on accident with the double stroller! Being away from family 7-10 days at a time! And you know how I feel about no good news min. Not complaining, just saying.

But weird bc the hardest summer ever was also the funnest summer ever, which I know makes no sense but honestly! Bc of our adorable intern couple friends who are all the EXACT same as us and now we have like thirty zillion inside jokes about Wicked and Cheesecake and Pinkberry and plus a dozen of us are going to make and sell baby hairbows at darling boutiques with catchy names when we get home...you can't find a group like this anywhere else, you know? I'm crying even thinking about being away from them! Tender mercy is that we all pinky swore to not steal e/o's baby names and if we do to spell them different and more creative. We'll all seriously go in on a houseboat on Pal next year and have reunions forever bc honestly, that's how close we are.

Moving is so hard. I want to come back to visit but I didn't make a single friend that will be here after next week {do those ppl even exist? LOL!}.

Anyways, except now there's like a ton of drama and I am so sick of being such a girl about this. I don't want to get into it so I'll just say that I don't even want to blog about how much I love them right now bc at Farewell Bunko last nite, I just found out that Kaysi and Lauren told Aubree and Kaylee that Whitni and Andrea said that Tiff and Staci weren't mad, just really shocked and disappointed that when last week they came over to JJWT and I's house I didn't blog about it and that later when I talked about it I accidentally just said, "Tiff and Staci."

Isn't that embarassing????

I totally spaced the importance of always pre-facing names with "Cute." Everyone knows if you don't always say or blog "Cute Tiff" or "Cute Staci" it implicates that they are disgusting.

Oh HONEY! I can't BELIEVE You have to go through this! You are SO BRAVE and have had SO MANY TRIALS!

But at the same time, it's FOR RUDE that you didn't blog about them and show a zillion pictures of the night plus an extra shot of you all in your modest bikinis.

I'm SORRY< it's just that SOMEONE had to TELL YOU!!!!!!

LOVE YOU!!!!!!!!

Poor D.C.

It won't be the same without you! Thank goodness you got to really know the city and all it's peeps. Now you can tell everyone in Zion about how you you're "from D.C." and that will make you stand out. It was all totally worth it!

This stuff is such genius that I can't even come up with a good comment for this post. Classic.

Girl, I don't know how you made it through the entire summer with it being so hard.... I would have broken down and taken the babies home to Glamma!

Why does drama always follow you? I don't understand... you're such an inspiration~ why do bad things happen to only the righteous??

Hobos lol.

TAMN,

I'm sorta depressed right now. I feel like I don't really know you anymore since all you talk about is your DC friends.

Hope you come back to Zion soon.

Alanna said...

I know how your friends feel, TAMN. I absolutely HATE it when I hang out with one of my own friends, totally spreading sunshine into there lives, and they can't even tell the world about how great I am on there blogs!?!?!?!

Seriously. What's up with that?

Zion away from Zion = Zion(squared).

farewell bunko. somehow that should be similar to a missionary farewell.

Take this as a sign that these friendships need to go the way of all the earth. Remember Girl's camp and how all the girls from the stake were there and you swore you'd be friends 4eva but as soon as you got home it was just super hard to keep in touch because they lived BLOCKS away and practically had different area codes? This is like this but bigger and more adult. While none of those unforgiving self-centered Daughters of God are actually from DC they probably will not be in your Utah ward either so you'll have to drive to AF or Draper or Sandy or something to keep in touch! With your twinners, you now that is a lot more work then you'll go to. I say use this experience next time you're asked to give a talk/lesson about the plan of salvation and how you know you'll all be an Enrichment Committee in the Celestial Kingdom but Parting is Such Sweet Sorrow. Honestly you're lucky to have a get-out-of-friendship-free card called a plain ticket. Why go to the work of asking forgiveness when you can move away and then pretend you don't know what they're talking about if you ever see them at Cheesecake?

btw I saw on the Cheesecake website that there is only one in Utah? Is that true?! The owner seriously needs the Gospel, send those missionaries STAT.

I agree with Mina about not even being able to think of anything to say to add to the artistry that is this post, but sence the last time I said that a post of yours made me "speechless" you got all affended, now I rilly RILLY don't know what 2 say.

Little Lovables said...

that's way sad they got upset, maybe they aren't true friends... after all, I don't recall ever reading THEIR blogs with photos and such of "cute tamn"!

Jules AF said...

This slightly makes me sick. But I totes agree that if you don´t call them cute, you´re calling them ugly.

Wow, "implicates" is a big word, TAMNers. Your time in DC has really made you grow, intellectually and spiritually. As always, an inspiration to us all!

Amy said...

I think that you need to just 'fess up and tell them that you're preggers again, and your cutesie prego brain just can't be expected to remember every little thing 100% of the time.

Honesty is the best policy TAMN!

Oh how I love your blog.

Mishqueen said...

Tiffy is a cuter name than Courty anyway.

Natalie said...

Um, not to point this out in a rude way, just in a super caring way... are they going to be mad since you referred to them once in this blog as 'Court and Staci' and then later twice as 'Tiff and Staci'???

It's probably just so hard to keep up on the drama.

Kaysi, Lauren, Whitni and Andrea all need to repent for evil gossiping and totally apologize to you. They should blog their apology, so it will be more meaningful. Just telling you in person would implicate that they are insincere.

And you need sincerity if you are going to continue to be friends with people who suggested they might steal your baby's names and spell them even more creatively! You need to protect Alivyiah from any future Aulivveeahs. She wouldn't be the uneekest person if that happened.

This is totally not your fault!

Goob said...

You better watch it TAMN, next thing you'll know you'll drop "most amazing husband ever" from JJWT's preface.

Shelley said...

My 14 year-old daughter always uses the word "hobos." And I can only imagine what a BUMMER it must be when you run into them with that double stroller. Seriously, they should be watching for stuff like that.

Ok, so I don't even know how you made it through the summer. What with the drama and the humidity and the twinsies, ick! Well, not ick on the twinsies, only the poop, if you know what I mean. Thank Jesus you have such a great group of Bunko players to prop you up! Amen!

this makes me snortle.

debbie said...

So... I agree you should just say your preggo again, and are rilly rilly focusing on not being sick, because you totally always get sicker than anyone eltse has ever been. And then, when they run into you at Cheesecake next month, and ask, just look rilly sad and say you just can't talk about it. It is fail-safe.

You've got bigger things to do. You only have a few days to meet Brock.

Unknown said...

Aren't hobos gross? When we go on vacay me and my kids always have a contetst to see who can see the most hobos...like I SPY.

Extra points if you spot them first.

It is so fun and such a good reminder how lucky we are to have a house of our own.

Unknown said...

Well... ARE they disgusting? I'm just sayin...

Laura said...

Somebody once referred to me in their blog as 'fun Laura' right after referring to 'cute Julie' and 'cute Rachel.' I totally got the hint and made 5-7 pedi appointments.

dharvey said...

Seriously so brilliant......your writing is hilarious. Have a safe trip back to Zion, where you won't have to run into hobos with the baby stroller. XOXO -- D.

Lobbie said...

Oh no TAMN, I just realized now that I have offended most of my friends!!! Usually I preface them with "smart," "funny," or "good friend," but that is miles behind prefacing their name with "cute." Who wants to be smart or funny if they're not cute?

MW said...

I just figured out that an even uneeker spelling of Whitni would be WhitKnee. I totally call dibs on that spelling and you can't use it.

Isn't it about time you get pregnant again?

Surfy Slurpy said...

double strollers are so hard to steer! i run into so many things! so hard!

Lillian said...

TAMN, how could you?!?!?! Everybody knows that the first time you introduce a friend on your blog, you must preface it with "... my dear sweet friend (so and so) who is SOOO amazing..." and then forever after refer to them as Cute So and So. But... nobody will blame you dear sweet TAMN because we know that your focus in life isn't really so much other people.

P.S. There is an entire wing of grad students here who read this blog - including several non-mormons. We love it!

How do you do it? You are such a richus example of how to persevere if you find yourself living "in the world" outside of Zion. Just remember, what happens outside of Utah stays outside of Utah. Put it all behind you and get back to God's chosen state.
