ugh

So after my 10 mile run this morning I was blog stocking and between sips of diet coke {bad i know}, honestly my heart about broke.

Did you know some people still only have two columns on they're blogs?

How would you even function, seriously?

Sad.

So sad. Some people don't have music or blinking pictures either. You win again, TAMN.

I confess... I'm a dual column-er.

Some people don't even have any sponsors or a kick-awesome soundtrack. Sad.

I know! I've seen people with only 2 columns, and they didn't even have any cool blinkies, or tickers, or widgits or anything. I almost cried.

Wow. That rilly hurts. I've tried to shake off this post for an hour so I wouldn't get offended but I just can't. My blog so totally used to be covered sparkley doo-dads and had FOUR columns but then I decided to SiMpLiFy so I think you're rudeness kinda backfired 'cause no offense but all your blinking flashies are tacky make you look super unoriginal. I mean that in the nicest possible way. I mean for cryin' out loud, you have a WHITE BACKGROUND. Lame! (Lurve ya)

Ah! I am one of those frumptastic moms with only two columns. I need to go see my bishop to get my life in order

I didn't know who you were talking about, and then I looked at my blog ...

I think I'm a two column girl, TAMN!!!! This is the worst realization EVER. I wish I knew how to make things darling like you, but artsiness was not one of my blessings, so I have to choose a regular blogspot template. Boo. :(

i'm not judging you, but some of us LOVE the simplicity of 2 columns. just sayin'...(oh, how i must remind you of that boring SIL of yours, huh?)

I wish I curd run 10 miles in the morn, but it is two time consumption. I bets you you get it dunn in 45 minutes.

Its such a waist of talent to stop at just two columns. I also realized that some peoples blogs still don't have Live, Laugh, Love anywhere and that's like not believing in the Prophet.

TAMN! your music says "Last Christmas" is by NSYNC, but as an NSYNC girl, it is NOT them. Really, theres no JC or Justin in that. Not even Chris Joey or Lance. Seriously. It sounds like OTOWN or something. Just so you know, don't make poor Nsync look bad. :)

After I run 15 miles, I'm changing my blog to 3 columns. Thanks for calling me to repentance on this one.

You are my inspurashun - running 10 miles and still finding time to do a 3-column blog? Amazing. Really. Wish i could siMplFy my life enuf to accomplish all that.

I know some people like to simplify their life to leave room for the important things. But I always assumed that was something you were supposed to TALK about and not actually do. Sort of like getting an education, eating less meat, geneology and gardening.

Because there is no way you can cut down on decorating, scrapbooking, making bows, self-taught cake skills, ebay businesses that clutter your house and make a whopping $50 of profit each month, etsy shops that make enough money for you to buy other stuff on etsy.

I mean, what is the point of doing the essential things if you aren't showing off how many non-essential things you can jam into your life too?

Oh, Tamn... not to break your teensy little heart even more, but I don't even know what you're talking about with the blog columns. I'll have to do some "stocking." ;)

Oh crap, I just realized my blog has only two columns. How do I make it do 3 columns? How?!

Thanks for calling me out...especially with the twins on the way, I need to do everything possibly to be more like you! *hugs*

Oh wait.
I'm a two columner.
I think all us two column moms should start a playgroup.

Oh, how I love Frau's comment. LOVE IT.

amen Frau.....A.M.E.N!

No truer words have ever been spoken! (TAMN should totally have Frau guest blog for her, when she takes a vaycay)

I think I'm so used to reading TAMN that I skip over a lot of the spelling errors, but it took me a while to figure out what in the world a "blog stocking" was.

So what do you think about moms who don't even have a blog?!?!? (must be a sign that I am barely breathing - which is true)

msaonika said...

I have a frumpy sister who is still on two column blogging... My heart hurts for her.

I'm a blog designer...so by nature I stock ppl's sad cowbell-less blogs.

I think this one misses the mark a little TAMN - I mean, how could you NOT have a two column blog, with a free scrapbooky background from some stock site, with a plain text header, only two columns, and still call yourself a Mormon mommy blogger??

PML said...

TAMN, I can't agree with you more. But I guess the sad part to all of this is that you, yourself, can't seem to keep up with your 3 columns. First of all, you have an ad that pops up on the left side for a 5K that was in OCTOBER. And that is not 2010. Did you win that 5K? And that is why you are keeping it up, to hold onto that win for awhile?

And second of all, you have "last poll results...Who's behind this thing, anyway?" but everyone knows that was not even close to your last poll that you did.

And last, and final, your left column extends WAY longer than your right column. It is so off balance that it just makes me question every scrapbook technique and home decor skill that you have.

So sorry TAMN to point these out. Just save yourself some further embarrassment and (1) fix the mistakes or (2) delete this blog post asap.

Stop stocking me!!!

The saddest of all is your poor grammar, Tamn. It's pretty pathetic that you don't know the correct form of the simple word, their. I was going to cut you some slack, but that would just be ridiculous. I mean, cutting people slack....that's so not your style, Tamners!

I dislike the comments posted that try to one-up TAMN's rudeness. As if this blog is a contest to see who can be the most snotty. Frau's comment was perfect - she simply continued on with the this satirical post's theme in an intelligent, witty form. Way to go.

Kristi said...

Oh, the comments are all in good fun, Brian and Chelsea. Relax! I don't think anyone thought "the blog was a contest"...except maybe YOU...since you declared a winner!

chelsea mckell said...

Well we know Kristi definitely wouldn't win the awesome-comment contest... gotta be witty AND sweet. Snotties are stuck in frumpville.
