OMGsh. Zumba is so awesome! Is that how you lost your baby weight plus five pounds? Or was that just starving yourself like usual?

16 x 20 bridals! of course!

I've been reading your blog forever but I feel like I know you so much better now that you've answered random questions. There is nothing like announcing your favorite restaurant to the heart of what you really are.

And DO NOT read War and Peace. It is about nuzzle, violence, those bad French and Commies, and people committing to ideals that aren't temple-worthy. (Some say close but if it isn't, it must be a plan of Satan to trick them.)

I know people are only watching out for my soul when they ask if I really read the books on my bookshelves.

I didn't even KNOW there was a new vibrating mascara out there! Where the heck are my priorities...

It IS more adorable to spell vajayjay with these things ~ "va~jay~jay." Well done! I hope this year is FULL of themed parties.

Hate to rain on your parade, eBFF, but did you know that The Dodo at The Gateway is closed? Sad! (Frownsmile)

Your answer to #9 is the funniest!

Oh my heck Frau I so totally I agree. I read War and Peace and it is the biggest regret I have of my Freshman year of high school and I seriously had to repent, plus I never read the work and the glory. You know how the binding of the Lord of the Rings DVDs looks kind of like leather books? (My husband got them for his birthday, I use them as costars so drinks don't mess up my mahongany teek not-coffee table). I think it would be rilly cute if you crafted up the inside of the that war and peace and put CD slips on some pages for your super classic movies like Pride and Prejudice (with Keira Nightly!!!) so when people ask all disapproving you can point out how artsy creative/utterly witless and illiterate/deep you are! LURVE IT!

oh crap. i can never eat at the dodo again.

help - what is the Dodo?

Rebecca said...

You KILL me!!!! I love the "H YES" answer. Oh my, I wanna be your friend 4EVER.

BaconandBitch said...

Your true self is coming out, TAMN could never use the word irregardless.

My favorites?

1. Using "over the top" as a noun. (At least I think that's what you were doing...)

2. N/A

3. Irregardless.

I love it!

I can't even get over Oprah leaving. If that means we have to watch Ellen degenerate, I will know that Satan is in charge of programming daytime t.v.

Missy W., The Dodo is a restaurant in Salt Lake that has been around forever, although it changes locations about every 2-3 years. It's a pretty popular place, even though the menu hasn't changed since 1982, apparently (soy-sesame cream cheese? Toll House pie?). Eh, it's good to know where to get a good slice of quiche in this town.

Carolyn said...

Yeah, I was going to ask about the thrift shop too. TAMN, what are you doing in a thrift shop?

Oh em gee, Mhana just gave me the best idea for if you find anymore vintage books (since you need to keep War 'N' Peace to support your bridle)! You could make a secret hiding place in the book, hot glue on ribbon ties on both covers to close it with, and use it as a jewry box! Or use it to keep an extra can of Diet Coke in.

"Irregardless" That's great. Also, I'm glad that you "visited" all those countries on cruises. You can learn a lot about countries from the gift shops next to the dock, for sure. XOXO, love you.

Books as decoration. I'm a real fan. Especially when people don't know enough to select books-for-looks that are impressive (bonus point for you- TAMN). So they display Reader's Digest Condensed Classics. Because they're hardcover and look like they might have chapters.

Honey Bee said...

Haha, there's nothing like having babies!
Not that I've had any-but being witness to new mommies slash good friends has made me almost a pro on this subject.

Rebecca Blevins said...

M&M, TAMN definitely would use "irregardless". The appropriate word should be "regardless".

TAMN would also be ok with a trendy upscale thrift--I mean vintage shoppe. Tons of ancient cuteness!

Token Asian Friend said...

It's not like TAMN buys clothes at the thrift shop. She buys stuff for home decor, and probably vintage props for her photog biz. It's the winter version of garage sale-ing!

Frau and Mhana need to have a guest poster contest. Or a commenter face-off. I just can't decide whose brilliant insights are more hilarious...
