so glad i'm his co-pilot

seriously so exited to watch the superbowl tonite after Batchelor!!!!! DON'T TELL ME WHAT HAPPENS!!!!

This year we teevoed the bowl cuz of the sabbath, which usually we watch it day of, but figured we better up our CTR facter so as I can stop getting callings like activities co-chair, and AngelNougat was soooo bummed out to have to wait that he finally went to his freind Robby's house where they spent the whole evening hometeaching.

SO thankful for SUCH a great hubbie.

Oh, Tamners, I am so sad for JJWT. This year, there was an ex-BYU football player on the Colts, AND they showed a pro-life commercial!

Not only does that basically count as hometeaching, but I'm pretty sure it gets you out of church for at least two weeks.

The whole night hometeaching. Classic. That one is going to keep a smile on my face all day today. I'm sure he was so happy when he got home because of all that extra spiritual home teaching stuff. ;)

Is Robbie in your ward? So glad JJWT found a spiritual outlet. How worthy of him!

Wow, you guys are so spiritual. You should totally invite your bishoprick over for the superbowl so they all know that AngelNougat was hometeaching instead of watching the game so that way you guys will TOTALLY be on the short list when the really prestigious, er, I mean, perfect for you callings come up.

TAMN, I'm sure you asked him all about his visit with his home teaching families, right? Did he come home smelling like hot wings?

The DVR was God's way of saving Priesthood holders from Divorce! BTW why hasn't watching the superbowl for FHE the next day become the only WORTHY way to watch THE game. You are so brilliant you have saved all these Mormons from their worldly ways! Isn't Technology a GOD send.

Let us know if he acts surprised when the Saints come back to win it... ooops, I gave it away!

Wow... JJWT was truly inspired to go to his buddy's house and do his HTing so early in the month--for hours. He must be totally CTR-ing to be such a "Saint"...(or a Colt?). So what did YOU do whilst Angelnougat was being led by the promptings?

I hope you're also his co-driver. I think that is what I liked best about my mission rules -- how we were taught that the passenger was equally responsible for safety, and that we should quietly but gently alert our companions to every possible hazard. How I loved murmuring "I see brake lights, sister. I see a red light, sister. I see brake lights, sister. I see a stop sign, sister" until my companion snapped. I was just being obedient, I don't get why they got upset...

You are SO lucky to have a man so ritchess as him because my husband totelly watched the game at midnight but I saw him sneak a peak on his iPhone to see the score at like 11:58. And he wonders why I only got 1st counselor in the RS Presidency!

Wow, he must've been serious, so inspired by your righteousness! You and my SIL are like totally alike- I guess great minds think alike. And this entire time I just thought she was a B.

I did love the bachelor. I know the ending and had a favorite. Now I don;t care to see it. I now realize he is thirty something and single for a reason

Oops....we watched it. Now I'll never get a good calling. Lesson learned for next time.

Oooohh! I bet that JJWT told you that him and Robbie got alot of home teaching done, and you totally believed him. Seriously, so naiive.....er-- cute. Love you, XOXO.

Tamn, that's awesome. Did JJWT seem at all bored tonight when you guys were watching it? He was probably just tired from so much home teaching.

YOu are SMART AND pretty. Wow....

I've been stuck as the Activities Director for, like, 5 years. Now I know why.

Watching the Colts is like the same as BYU, and that's so spirichul. They both have happily married RM's on the team, and hello, they are both blue.

did your angelbabes ring chips and salsa when he went home teaching?

@Wendy

hey, it's the LARD that calls you, not Linzii's MBA holding/tenured professor/computer scientist bishop hubby assigns you to. (Don't worry, TAMN, I agree: marrying a guy THAT much older isn't part of the plan.)

Well since one of our friends is our HT, we were being righteous in watching the superbowl and eating hot wings. :)

Vanessa Contessa said...

Wow, he is seriously Stake YM presidency material.... you are sooooo lucky to have such an understanding loveyboy... I bet he even tells you that he only eats at Hooters for the wings and doesn't even look... SOO RITEOUS!

This post is in my top-10 all time favs. Fer shure.

Remember that GC talk about Good, Better, BEST? Well you chose the BEST - not watching that sinful foosball game.

Mhana - though your comment went off-topic, I totally pictured the scene you described and laughed more.

Love that your sweetie got his home teaching done in the begining of the month. Such an example.
