Okay, so I hate gripping but this is my blog:
NO ONE KNOWS HOW HARD MY LIFE IS! Nobody get's it. All the actual single moms think that they know what it's like for ME to feel like a single mom but they don't, because I have to support someone in law/biz/med/dental school and they don't! Unless they are IN law/biz/med/dental school but still, they don't take care of themselves like I do so they still don't GET it!
And, I'm just sickened tired of working mom's who say I don't know what there life is like when I'm actually busy-er bc I know for a fact they don't work out!
And honestly it's super hard for me when people who don't have twins but who just have there kids one at a time, even if they have nine, think they understand how hard my life is!
And seriously it's way hard when people who have twins think they understand what it's like for me with MY twins when they don't bc my twins are smarter then other twins so need more challenging play, and I have a standard of cuteness to maintain that they don't!
And people are always all "Well at least you have you're health" or "It could be worse, what if you got cancer?" but hello, if you have cancer you at least get sympathy!
Honestly, when it come's to everyone on earth, i KNOW what it's like for them but HATE when they think THEY know what its like for ME.

Making me wonder, since TAMN's is a satire blog, that there are really people complaining like this on their actual blogs. If so. . . Yikes!
How could sloppy frumps EVER know what it's like to be thin, trendy, and fabulous? How presumptuous.
You caught me (hanging head). I have to admit it's really hard for me to imagine what it's like to be you.
"at least you get SYMPATHY."
I love this blog.
Last line = pure genius.
Oh man, I haven't seen one of those blog posts yet... I have heard sort-of similar sentiments in person though. Yeeeeaaahhh.... Empathy, thy name is TAMN.
Sorry Tamn, but I think you need some gratitude rehab at the cannery...including hairnet.
Just the subject line is enough to give me the giggles.
Wow. One of the best in a very long time. I'm too in awe to laugh. Great job.
"Sickened tired"... classic.
I haven't read this on blogs but I know I have heard a friend say something to this effect, seriously. (for the record, she's not Mormon but she does live in Happy Valley)
LOVE YOU TAMN!!!!!!! You ROCK!!!!
Every line is truth. I've heard then all at least once. But I think my favorite was something like,"It hurts more when I have babies than when you do..."
Oh totally get it!
It's so easy for those people who have tragedy, trials, poverty, and those sad things like that to get caught up and think that life is so hard.
Like the woman in my ward who has the medically fragile baby born at 29 weeks. Hello, SHE is complaining about being tired when she hasn't had to cook dinner for a month? She even gets help with house cleaning. I was telling my friend the other day that MY baby was born early too (38 weeks) but my kid knew better than to malinger like a drama queen in the hospital for months on end.
I mean, my life is filled with laundry, dishes, sewing, BUDGETING (Who else has to do that?) and just nothing but hard things. But I put a smile on my face and act like nothing is wrong.
I'm pretty sure I show a strength that other people can't even conceive. (Well, except TAMN.)
I know, like right after my dad died of cancer my mom's friend was all like, it's soooo tough to take care of my husband for a week b/c she has the flu. waaaaahhhhhhhhh!!!
TAMNs, I am filling sorry for you, and agree totally with everything you said- but seriously, I thought blogs were supposed to be about how great your life is ALL THE TIME! Like, you are only supposed to broadcast the happy things and edit out all the unhappy stuff so everyone can see how perfect you are (like I edited out how I got food poisoning on my-bday last week, and had pics of me smiling BEFORE I ate one bite each of my b-day lunch and dinner desserts, although I was secretely thankful for being sick, so everything I ate isn't on my hips today).
Wow. Just. Wow.
I love how you still tag this post under "My Way Fun Life." Rock on, Tamn.
The use of punctuation in this post is particularly impressive. Poor TAMN.
i love that you used colorz in your blog becuz it reminds me of rainbows and I think of how hard it must have been for Noah and his family, all alone on a ship with their pets, taking a cruise for months and not having to work. and how hard it would be for Noah to look upon his frumpy wife who hadn't had a mani or pedi in weeks or had her highlights done! I bet they thought their lives were hard too. Can you imagine! But back to the rainbows, just remember we're promised in that scripture that we aren't given more trialz than we can handle and when things get tough the tough get going to the beach where he can pick us up and carry us leaving only one set of footprints. I love that one! Thanks for sharing your honesty with all of us ebffs.
I think you are psychic. Why does your blog always address real life in SUCH a timely manner? LOL. Classic! Again.
You forgot how you are perpetually busier than everyone else ALL THE TIME WITH SUPER IMPORTANT STUFF THAT'S MORE IMPORTANT THAN THEIRS...
Love the "standard of cuteness to maintain.." Seriously, people with frumpilious kids just don't understand how hard it is to keep kids looking good! For you TAMNers it'd be like having 2 fill time jobs b/c of the Twinners. I really look up to you for that. Thanks.
Look, TAMN, I completely understand what you are saying, but I'm pretty sure my life is harder than yours.
So true. Like when my absolutely gorgeous sweetheart has to hover over the grandkiddies with Kleenex at the ready. I mean, can you imagine what it would do the ultimate eternal standard of cuteness if icky stuff that oozed from their noses were allowed to stay there, on display, for everyone? It takes all my time just to watch her hover, to make sure she doesn't miss wiping any runny noses. Honestely. Frumpy non-cute people have no idea all the free time they have by just not wiping noses.
I wish I could feel for you, but my life is non-cute, partially frumpy and I have no trials that I can moan about. I feel bad for me not being able to feel bad for you.
so a friend referred me to this blog, and after reading the first post I was like, gag, this lady is pitiful and I almost commented on something like that, but then I read more posts and realized that you are pretty much making fun of people who are seriously like this! (I hope!! :) ) Hilarious.
Bless your heart TAMN, but I'm afraid you're not going to make it through the apocalypse.
You are such a trooper.
The standard of cuteness to which you are referring is mind boggling in Utah County. I could really learn a thing or two about such cuteness and the priority that it should take in our lives from you and most of my neighbors. Luckily there are people like you set such wonderful examples.
ahhhh im pretty sure ive seen several "real" blogs that say the same thing :)
I love the "sickened tired".
And GladysIcanbee....that was perfect. Thank you.
Love the SMARTER THAN YOUR TWINS and how its much harder to entertain and maintain their level of cuteness!
That's just got to be a challenge!
Not to be rude, but I thought complaining about your trials was against the plan. Thats why I never do.
Just saying.
Not to be judgmental but I think that makes me more patient than you.
I don't have twins, but I have triplets...I don't have 9 kids, but I have 10...and maintaining the standard of cuteness? top priority...don't want to look like what one might perceive a mom of 10 might look like...I do drive a 15 passenger van however, LDS, but not from UT. Had 5 under 3...4 in diapers...When #10 was born had 10 under 14, 8 girls and 2 boys. Now I have 4 in high school hee, hee...I can at least guess how much fun your life is! farmer.laurie@gmail.com
Oh, TAMNy, I'm kinda disappointed in you for posting this. No one likes a frowny face, change it for a smile! Remember that song? It means that it's our duty as Mormons to never be whiney and always pretend that our lives are perfect.
Seriously, if your life isn't one big good news minute, nobody wants to hear that, and no offense but you're probably a bad mom. *frownsmile*
Ouch, Allison. Let's be a little more supportive of TAMN in her needs! But TAMN, Allison does have a point...keep that smile on your face, honey! Be careful not to let too much bring you down or you'll get nasty wrinkles all over your face and you'll have to get surgery to laser them out. And who wants to do that?! (Just so you know, TAMN, if you DID have to do that, I totally wouldn't judge you and I would keep your secret.) You're amazing, TAMNers! Loves!
wow. the cancer comment? hmmm...i don't know
