good, better, best

Sorry I haven't blogged in forever!!!!!! This a.m. on my 10 mile warm up run I saw Lynzii outside her house. It was a tough call as to what to do, keep running so she'd see how faster and fitter I am then her OR slow down to say a two-syllible "hi-i!" to show how outgoing and give her a chance to see how little I sweated. But then I realized i HAD to stop bc she was outside letting the glitter dry on the vintage cupcake toppers she was making for our ward Halloween party.

First off, why aren't those done already??! It was an action item off our last co-chair meeting and it's already July! Sooooo I stopped to offer to help, but I did it super grimacey so it definately sent the "If you can't hack it which you prolly can't, I can," message loud and clear! LOL! It's just hard bc the party is super important and I know I won't be able to do it alone since I have the twinses 18-month birthday party to plan, plus I want to start looking for new homes so I can get a bigger kitchen, yard and calling and there is tons of online shopping to do. So yeah theres' ALOT going on.

P.S. Just found out she and me have the same vintage headband only her weird flower is even more ginorm then my weird flower. Ugh!

P.S.S. Remember when she stole my names for her triplet's?? Well, I hate to be a Smug Staci but the joke is on HER bc now those names are SO overdone, I know like thirteen Taeybers, Taeygans and Taggleighs in my aunt's ward. Versus I haven't met any Tridger Kaegrens or Alivyiah TreColes. ha!

It makes my heart cry that you worship Satan by glorifying Halloween when everyone KNOWS it is Costume Harvest Party Faire! So sad that you love demins so much! LOL! Is she also having fertility troubles because I haven't herd a WORD about a baby bump from her and its been way over a year. Gross. What do the twins do on your runs? Do you have a Bob? Are you up before JJWT so he can babysit? Does Glamma come over every day? Or do you just trust in the Lord that the twinsies will be protected because you pay tithing on your gross income rather than your net income?

I know a baby named Aliviyah. Spelled that same way. No lie.

TAMN, with everything important going on in your life right now (like the Halloween party concern) I don't know how you even find time to exercise. You're amazing!!

AHH! Am I the first to write a comment! YES!! Lynzii has nothing on you Tamn! You are amazing, and your kids names are SOO CUTE. Did I tell you that my son's name is Bridger!! SO CUTE!! Tridger and Bridger!! We should totally get them together for a play date! Plus I'm so glad you totally gave her the "can't hack it" speech. Sometimes they just need to hear it! Love you Tamn!!

I hate those "vintage" headbands. And I know exactly the "hi-i!" you mean!

Don't worry TAMN, you're way cuter than what's her face.

When your shopping for new houses, make sure the yard has a to-die-for waterfall in the front AND the back, and don't forget the sports court that the neighbors can see but not use. It's all about appearances and the OUTSIDE is the first impression that everyone will have of the inside of your house. (ITs also very cute and trendy to have fish in the front waterfall, but the poolboy has to MAKE SURE EVERY DAY that none of them are dead and floaty.)

"Hi-i!!" Lol. At first I thought "Wait a minute, is Halloween coming up?" hehe silly me, still not planning far enough ahead for important life events.

Is Alivyiah pronounced like "Olivia" or like "Alive-yuh"?

I like "alive-yuh" better.

P.S. "P.S." stands for "post script", which sort of means "after the letter," so if you want to have a P.S. after a P. S., then it should be "P. P. S.," meaning after the little note that's after the letter." not "P.S.S."

I have to tell you when I am having a bad day. I have to come to your blog just to listen to the Glee version of Halo/Walking on Sunshine and dance with my girls. Works like a charm. Thanks for the song!

Really glad you and Lynzii are planning all this and making it look great and also that you WANT the bigger callings so that I can just show up and enjoy :)

I love that you are looking for a bigger house so you can "get a bigger kitchen, yard and calling."

I might laugh about that all day.

I saw Russ' comment and decided to listen to your music for once. Wouldn't you know it the ONLY time I am WANTING to hear the music it does not stream overseas.

Mhana - This is supposed to be a righteous blog without all that worldly, unrighteous, social work, blah, blah, watch-your-children, blah, blah. So I'd appreciate it if you didn't ruin the spirit of TAMN's blog by asking who is "taking care of the twins."

I think that it really shows how Satan is trying to tear apart families. Now they rip them out of their crying mother's arms for stupid reasons like "neglect" and "endangerment."

In reality, I can't see why good temple-worthy members would worry about their children dying. I mean, who cares? It's not like they aren't going to the Celestial Kingdom anyways. It just floors me that anyone would kick up a fuss about that. So what is the point of watching them? It's not like they can make a run for beer or have boyfriends/girlfriends over at that age. The only thing that could happen to them is salvation.

Oh and TAMN, the have those fake sunflower bushes on sale at Michaels, you could put all of that on your head.

Kamity said...

TAMN, I vote you buy a sunflower bush and put that on a headband.

The only thing possibly better than this blog is the comments. Coming here always brightens my day. :D

Tamn, you are way cuter than Lynzii and you're kids are cuter than hers and JJWT is defiantly more handsome and more smarter than her husband. Also, next time your preggers, my husband wrote a computer program that generates "Utah names" - in case you need euniche ideas.

daltongirl said...

Not to turn this into a competition, but on the off chance you don't make my day TAMN, I can always count on Mhana and Frau to pull something out. Hilarious!

I don't know why we don't encourage people to leave their babies alone/endanger them more often--from the pulpit. It's like giving them a free pass to the Celestial Kingdom. Sure, we'll miss them for a while, but we'll be together forever. Eternal perspective. Sheesh.

Just when I think things are as GOOD as they'll ever be you get BETTER but this post is the BEST. So much I could say. Instead I'll just say this: it's perfection.

please, puh-lease share that Utah-name-generating program. Is it as good as the Palin-name-generators that circulated in late '08?

You are so righteous and a great example of perfect womanhood. I feel so remiss that I have not thought of buying a bigger house so I can have a bigger kitchen and thus a better calling. Now I know why I've been given token callings nobody cares about. I learn so much from you. Thank you (choking back grateful lump in my throat plus tears).

Frau and Mhana- WOW! And Frau, I have to say WOW again.

Oh, sorry TAMN.

So you should totally make that your sub-objective on your morning half-marathons: finding people who are so needing your help in their projects. I mean why eltse would they bring them outside if it weren't to show how desperately in need of help they are???

Mrs. Clark said...

I had been wondering what Lynzii was up to! Don't worry, TAMN, you have her beat in Every. Single. Way.

Annie said...

Oh TAMN, you are SO amazing!!!!:-)!!! Question for you. what do you think about cars? My hubbsters and I have twinsers ourselves and, now that there are 4 of us, and since our car only holds 5 people (totally ugh) we of course need to upgrade to something else! What do you think - a minivan to show we are following the commandments and so we can have temple recommends, or a totally pimped out SUV, to show we love our children more because SUV's are more safe. Or are both okay as long as we have a DVD player?? PUH-lease help me out!! Oh, and about that ginorm flower problem, just put one on your head, put some on your necklace, a couple pinned to your shirt and your belt, and one on each of your flip flops. that'll show her!!!

Sarah said...

TAMN! You grimaced when you stopped by Lynzii?? What if she took that to mean you were tired/had a stitch in your side/had a muscle cramp?? Remember, you have to remember EVERYTHING anyone might possibly think about you when you're keeping up appearances??

And don't worry about her flower being bigger than yours. The person with the biggest flower is obviously trying to compensate for something, and we all know YOUR life is perfect. ;)

Laura said...

But Annie, didn't you hear that SUVs really aren't that safe? I guess it's a mini van for TAMN! But don't worry, there are cute mini vans out there. My mom has one.

Help, haven't you guys ever heard of baby monitors? Perfect for trips to the nearby grocer, 10-mile sweatless jogs, or if you don't want them have to deal with snotty mini-frumpsters in nursery on Sunday...oh and for dates. I'm sure tamn has a monitor, y'all.

The Cook Nook said...

TAMN! I am such a big fan of your blog so I can totally learn how to be a super cute Mommy just like you. I have some questions, though!
1- What do you think of that family the Duggars with like 20 kids?
2- Which of your names Tiffany Amber Megan Nicole do you like the best?
3- I have an arch nem too (don't we all), but she thinks she is so much better than me because her son became a deacon and blesses the sacrament like every Sunday. How do trump that?!

Sarah said...

I'm sorry but there is NO WAY Tamn has a minivan. She is 100% tricked out SUV. Minivans are for frumps! I should know, I have one. Adults wearing flowers on their headbands only drive SUVs, it's a law of nature. Or of the gospel. One of those.

chubs said...

There are such things as vintage cupcake toppers?!

I'll never make it to the celestial kingdom.

Sarah said...

Yeah, telemoofna certainly doesn't get the joke.
