thankfull thursdays

You guys, there is SO MUCH going ON i am SO BUSY making MEMORIES and will journal it on here shortly but first have to defiantly apologize, haven't been very greatful on my blog lately {JJWT says I'm turning into a total DOWNER!!! Rude!!} and I want every one to know that despite of the trails of graduating and not being part of a wive's club and having to decide when to get preggo again and dealing with callings that are so far below my ability their basicly underground, despite of all that, I am still seriously so blessed!!

Today I am greatful for:
  • Being cutest and definately skinniest all my friends--I don't mean that rude--bc even when I get the frownies no matter how bad I feel at least I don't have bat arm's!
  • How much I learned when we were in law/biz/med/dental school! It's like I'M the lawyer/mba/dr/dentist! Practically! Except, a girl.
  • My patriotic wreath!
  • All the pride I feel seeing 15 month old Alivyiah at the dance studio she takes at!
  • The creative talents I gift people with, not to brag but seriously, my meek little heart broke into thirty literal pieces yesterday when the young womens told me they had some activity on not dressing all skanky and I was all, hold the iphone, NOT dressing skanky? WTH! Do it while you still can! Trust me, its wayyyy easier before you have to worry about the tuck and pin, am I right girls? ;) Am making some super darling shapes w/ my cricut to make into bookmarks for handouts and then modge podging some angels from Vicky's Secret on them as a if-you-got-it-flaunt-it reminder to keep in there church totes. Super cute!

As the current miamaid advisor in my ward (totes for realz!!), can I just say on behalf of one and all everywhere...

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!

And yet again, a bit more emphatically-- AGGGHHHHHH!

The screaming gets louder when I think about the inspiration for the "if you got it, flaunt it" lesson.

Part of this post made me throw up out of horror, but the best part made me throw up b/c I DON'T WANT BAT ARMS!!!

AAAAhahahahahahaha. I love you. I hope you do a DIY picture tutorial on how you made the bookmark/handouts.
I'm super glad that little Alivyiah is not hiding her dance talent under a bushel like so many other yawny kids. I would love to see how you did her make up for her dance competitions.
Meanwhile, I can only imagine that Tridger is already in tiny tot football....running down all the other kids because he's ALL boy. What a champ! Seriously! You're so blessed.

TAMN,
My friend was telling me that there is some "artwork" in the BYU bookstore that basically makes lawyers look like evil sinners that are all trying to take God out of America. She said there were these girls snapping picture of this AMAZING art to send to their friends to show them how evil education makes people.
Was that you?
How does JJWT feel about being a heathen now? Or maybe b/c he probably went to BYU he is one of the few that is going to bring righteousness back to America...
Artwork like that teaches me that the more education I get, the less righteous I will become.
Good thing you're so righteous huh TAMN!!

I love how you have to "defiantly apologize". That's my favorite part.

GAAA! It's the details. THE DETAILS. "At the dance studio she takes at"? Perfect.

Amen to Maren about the "Except, a girl" comment. Totally made me snort.

This blog brings me joy.

"defiantly apologize" and "despite of the trails" -- LOL! Oh yeah, and the fact that the entire first paragraph is all one run-on sentence again. AWESOME!

I am so, so, so grateful that you somehow find time to blog even though you are so, so, so busy doing such cute and important things! Your sacrifice makes my life better.

Speaking of sacrifice, it makes me happy that if I am going to be on the plump side, at least I can provide the service of making my friends look skinnier compared to me. It's like the scriptures say, my weakness becomes their strength.

Can you please post a picture/tutorial on these "if you got it, flaunt it" bookmarks? I think we should make them as an activity for Mutual! It's all about Individual Worth, right? Ha ha, and I have to agree with everyone else, "except a girl" is the best line ever!

You have to be careful what dance studio Alivyiah goes to. Some of them have never had anyone from their studio on SYTYCD. And in keeping with the "If ya got it, flaunt it" theme, some studios have the little girls dress all pioneer-y. Why was spandex invented if it weren't for TIGHT costumes that reveal your perfect dance form? Seriously, you have to do your research more than ever these days!

Why not just do a "if you got it flaunt it" tote, let your "not a skank, just cuter than you" light shine! Pretty sure the miamaids and their moms won't find those at the desert book.

Your best line ever TAMN.

Wive's clubs... what the....I did try googling but eeek! I'm sure that's not what you're into!!

"tuck and pin" - Hilarious cuz I watched my Mom do that for years!

Qwiki Q. for ya Tamn...If a person has trials, is it because:
A. They're SUPER valiant and truly blessed?

or b. They prolly don't pray enough?

or C. It depends on if they're hot and on the "well to do" side.

I'm asking because I want to publically speculate, but in a smart way.
XOXOXO

Since you're the crafty queen and all, can you tell us how you attached all that rhinestone bling to the license plate on your mini-van? I didn't think the bedazzler machine could pierce through metal.

BTW, this blog and comments are a lot more entertaining than the Twilight series (yawn.) just sayin. Sorry, Stephenie, bless your heart.
